At the top of the forums home page, there is a chatbox that has been installed so we can communicate with each other in real time, this is a really cool idea.
However...
I'm sure alot of you folks have looked at it and went, huh, neat but no one ever seems to be chatting.
This particular version has to be refreshed to see who else is chatting, unlike the IRC or IM's where the messages post automatically, it will autorefresh after 30 seconds but that seems to be about 27 seconds longer than most keep interest in the thing. You can avoid this by typing in your comments in short bursts like I do, its annoying but every time you hit the enter button you can see whats been said without waiting for a refresh 28 seconds down the road.
So, to recap...
If you're looking to have a cohesive conversation with folks, refresh often!
