I don't like dogs

I miss my dog (a small one) that we had to put asleep 5 years ago. She lived a long healthy life, but I guess I don't understand why some people have the dogs they do. Big dogs smell bad, are misbehaved, shed, slobber, chew things up. I don't like being around them; they are annoying, especially if 2 of them are playing.

Overall, I don't like dogs. Companionship is good, but I have become a neat freak over the years. I'm not willing to sacrifice cleanliness for a dog. Cats aren't much better. Maybe I will get an iguana someday... Iguanas are cool. They just mind their own business and don't make a mess.

^I figured someone would say that, but maybe I need to be around a well behaved one to change my perception. Yeah the owners just yell at these two that were pissing me off for an hour roughplaying. They took my shoe...

I love being around well behaved dogs. It's kind of like kids actually. I don't mind kids that behave, but am irritated at misbehaved ones.

dogs are great.

There's a problem when people and dogs/creatures live in the same house .

but if you're the sort of folk who doesn't mind their kids crawling around on the same carpet your pet wipes their ass (etc.) on , then who are we to judge.

i used to not like dogs when i had very limited experience with them
after having lived with dogs, i find they are a lot like people, theres both good and bad
our dog phil is so well behaved and has such a good personality, im sure youd like him, he is a sweetheart

i hate little dogs. ick little yippy balls of fur. puppys who are going to turn into big dogs are cute tho. i have a HUGE boxer mix of some kind i adopted from a shelter. hes so mellow and sweet.

Alot of dogs are insanely annoying, to the point of which I won't go to the owners house. I played poker at a friend of a friends and this big ass dog was climbing up on me every chance it got regardless of what I or anyone did to it. It had to be locked in the basement. The dog whined and barked relentlessly until someone felt bad and let it out again, only to repeat the process. It also ate a hamburger right out of my hand.

But ya, well trained dogs are nice. Although it can be kind of creepy and sad when a dog is TOO well trained. My friends mom has extremely well trained Portuguese water dogs, you can set a juicy steak down right in front of them and they will run away from it fearfully. However, it is nice that they will fuck off if you tell them to.

While I hate dogs who bark at you when you walk by on the sidewalk, I'm pretty much cool with the rest, anyone who doesn't like dogs is worse then a Nazi, cuz even Hitler loved his german sheperds.
