doesnt anyone teach there kids any phone etiquette? i just picked up my house phone and said hello. some kid just shouts at me "is samantha there!?!?" (samantha is my 9 year old sister) and i said "no shes at dance right now" he sais "ok" and hangs up. omg people teach your kids to use the phone with some manners!

then hung up the phone calmly and waited for the first time she comes to my home to see her facial expression when she sees the lunatic mother who has no...phone etiquette.

I only say these things because we all know what children expect, but as a child we have absolutly no intentions of giving any kind of respect whatsoever as well...

for example...some little kids the other week on the short bus were giving me the finger . So I'm all "fuck this shit!" and I gave those grade 2'ers the finger right back, dramatically and they were ll shocked.

maybe I'm wrong but you get what you give?

It's not just little kids. I called the pharmacy the other day, and I was asking about a script I had to pick up, and the guy burps right in my ear. A legit burp, not some girly one, and he didn't even acknowledge he did it, let alone say "excuse me".

It's because we aren't allowed to beat them enough.
I blame the European Union. When I went to school, if we miss behaved we were given 6 of the best (six whacks across the backside or the hand with a cane or a slipper).

Children are ridiculously spoiled these days.

I might add that my children are all extremely polite and most of the community where i live are also well behaved and well mannered. But this is a traditional place.

Society in general seems to be decaying and values in general are declining.

For that I firmly blame the USA. Everything that the original Greeks invented, the British perfected and the Americans reduced into it's lowest form.

Good food = Mcdonalds
Good food = Coca cola
Good company = the internet
