That being said, I am not going to get the shot... To be honest I havn't even really been paying attention to it, and if I end up getting it I'm willing to deal with the symptoms...

last time i got a flu shot it almost killed me literally....so that would be a big NO.
not sure what my fiance has planned for herself or Lilith though. Its kinda a tuff decision to make and its especially tough in this house do to my situation. If u bring up the flu shot to my parents they still turn white as marshmallows.

I never get flu shots, but I've been to the ER three times in the past 12 months (not recently, nothing to do with immune deficiency, just not taking care of myself and being on h) and I'm still recovering.
I can't afford another ER visit.

Yeah I haven't given a shit about the pig flu since the second week it was on the news.
As long as you're in good health, don't get your flu shot, don't get your pig flu shot. The risk of side effects and having a completely unnecessary medicine put into your body is just not worth it, in my opinion. That's not even mentioning that the "flu shot" only protects against one strain of the flu, which is only guess work because, obviously, flu shots are usually given before flu season.
