buffalo bills wild west
ok has anybody ever heard about this at all?

i knew vague things about it before but i saw this american experience documentary the other day (u can watch the whole thing on pbs.org if u want)

but buffalo bills show was cool as fuck, it was basically like a disney or universal studios style show about the wild west that played at expostions around the world in the 1880s and 90s....

and it was supposedly the first and greatest cultural export of america in its first 100 years..


so i guess number 1 purpose of this thread is to ask people if they have heard of it, and to direct them to pbs.org to watch the american expeirence epsidoe


and point 2, i was searching on youtube and found out that they made a remake of this show at Disneyland paris and it fucking rocks!

i wish theyd bring it to some disney park in the us-

ps i was just on the pbs site and they have another cool as marijuana documntary called the botany of desire , check that shit out too!


damn i love full eps online.


south park has all their eps online too its fucking nice as hell,
glad some of these companies have finaly goteen their online shit together.

i always know what kind of responses ill get from u guys, just not exactly sure which flavor it will come in.


on the one hand its pretty funny but on the other hand wtf. is there some reason why u have to post stupid shit in a good thread? cant u just go play xbox live or something

i heard of it but havnt seen the pbs show about it

heres something i bet wasnt included in the docu and native americans wont admit- every modern day pow wow is a result of him and that show. if it werent for him a lot of songs and dances and things would be lost
