how the fuck do you compare the beer of a single country to that of an entire continent? you are truly an ignorant fucker if you think that american beer holds a candle to european beer.

Aidz is right, shits not only on commercials it's plastered all over the caps of beers that have no right in calling themselves beers.

Picked a few crappy ones to represent America there kitch, save Stone who make amazing beverages. Over all I'd honestly have to give it to American Micros. If we're talking in general or history however I've gotta give it to Europe easy.

Also I haven't touched a drop in like 2-3 months. That'll finally change this weekend thank Christ.

American beer pretty much owns, ever since Boston Beer Company (which makes Sam Adams) became the biggest brewery in America after Bud was sold to Canadians, it seems like every American beer is pretty damn heady. And Al I've been trying my level best not to get angry with you lately so I'll just mention the thread with you drinking smirnoff ice and ask you to nominate some heady canuck brews.

Allagash white and Rogue Double Dead Guy are indeed bomb. I had the empty bottle of double dead layin around for a good bit after I drank it actually. As far as Allagash goes there are a couple other whites I'd rather drink but the only domestic I can think of off the top of my head is Dogfish Head's Woody Creek White which runs circles around Allagash I think. Rogue is the most overrated micro around here. People fucking love them and to be quite honest I've never tried anything (save DDG) that wasn't just overwhelmingly mediocre. They certainly don't make bad beer, but the hipster contingent and a few others around here at least overrate the shit outta those guys.

So in short, no. I do however accept your duel!

I think Dog Fish ALONE keeps America in the running.

Cheers to the rest, but these guys and ladies brew pretty experiential stuff that never fails to please.

Adamstown PA, Stoudts, brews an AWESOME Imperial IPA that is 9%, I'm always down for that or a Triple Abbey from them.

Myxie, you should be able to find that shnizzle in your area for sure.

Haven't had that one, but am always fair and try a new one now and again. I find the body too light for me. I just don't feel like my mouth is full when I drink it. I'll keep this one in mind if I see it again though.
