What I like to say to smokers that I talk to casually when they tell me they smoke/start smoking in front of me I say, 'oh jeez you're going to choke to death in the end man/babe/dude/etc' variations include 'suffocate' 'die gasping' etc

Most people will chuckle and knowingly agree despite the bluntness of my assessment, but sometimes people are down right taken aback, one girl I think cried which I felt bad for. But I mean.. if you can't handle hearing the truth from some asshole like me, how the heck are you gonna handle dying from it?


I feel that since I did smoke for like.. 6 or 7 years I know what its about and therefor feel no shame. In fact it was my sister doing this same thing to me every time she saw me smoke, that plus having a daughter and one spiritual mushroom trip, that got me to finally quit.


If I ever do smoke again it'll be organic tobacco in small amount in a pipe yo. Fuck all those chemicals that are put into them it's a god damn business agreement between tobacco companies and cancer medicine suppliers and the fact our governments don't legislate the fuck out of its production is clear evidence your government don't give one fuck about you.

Yeah...I smoke and shouldnt have started. Ive watched two family members die from smoking. I started smoking when I was going through my whole addiction thing..firstly because its nice to have on when youre fucked up, but its also good for withdrawal, and all the bums I used to hang out with smoked (not literal bums...just junkies).

American spirit is by far my favorite but I can never afford them...Its like 8 dollars a pack at the store next to my house. Fuck that.

ive been a hardcore full time smoker for 8 years

unfortunately i just quit, its been about 3 months maybe a bit more

it was easy at first
but now every time i drive past the fucking gas station im like aaaaaaaarggggh smokes
and everytime im at the liquor store (which is very quite often alot) im like AAAAAAAAAAARGH SMOKES
and sometimes im just at the grocery store just buying cheese and shes all like:
"anything else with that?"
and im like:
"AAAAAAAAAAREGBGGGGG HHHHHHH SMOOOOOOKEDS SMOOOOOOOOKES SMOOOOOOKES JUST SWIPE THE FUCKING CARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!-"

and then today when i seen a friend of mine he was walking his dog on the beach and im like heyo barry u got a smoke and he' s like nah im going to the store toget some come keep me company
then i was like aargh i shouldnt


i really dont know why i fucking quit smoking i looove smoking
i only did it for my wife so she's stop nagging me
and now she really sucks
not even the good way so im thinking about starting smoking again

but then its like when you think about it 10 bucks a day and in bc its only 20 smokes in a pack unlike the east coast where u get 25 for like 8.50(even the good brands)

now instead of smoking cigarettes i smoke a fuckload of weed i smoke joints like theyre cigarettes i dont even get high

but im still not technically 'smoking'

Jesus. I always forget how much of a crazy place Canada is until I remember how much cigarettes are...But it's got hot girls, good bud, and a lower drinking age....So Im down.

My major problem isnt the nicotine addiction its the psychological aspect of smoking. I noticed that when I dont have cigarettes I eat constantly and bite my nails (and masturbate chronically). I just like doing something with my hands I think. My mom is the same way (minus the masturbation...hopef ully).

Why stop there? Might as well go around giving everyone gratuitous death assessments. Seat belts, construction zones, competitive sports. I'm sure everyone would love to hear from you.

If I was in a car with someone not wearing a seat belt I'd probably mention that they might wanna put their seat belt on.

I just like doing it with cigarettes especially because it's ridiculous; you're paying lots of money for an obvious poison so that you... get a short little buzz. I mean cigarettes aren't even good until you're addicted, it's stupid.

But you have to know I don't say that sort of thing to just someone randomly on the street. It's gotta be someone that is in the same situation as me for some similar reason (ie at work, at school, at a party whatever). If there is some kind of association I feel the right to do it without feeling guilty.

And I don't care in the least if the only thing that enters their head is, 'this guy is a fucking prick,' because well.. I only said it because it felt good to say. So many folks ignore everyday truths so they can go on living how they're accustomed and they just hate it when something interferes with that grove. If people are thinking I'm a prick it's because they're a pussy. Automatically they feel attacked, like I'm judging them or something.
