sleeping w/ recurring dream

i don't know if many people have experienced this, but here it goes: sometimes when i sleep, i get a dream that keeps repeating itself. it will usually be about 10 seconds long, and might change slightly. the problem is that i can't sleep because i keep waking up. i think it's going to be okay and go back to sleep. what i'm wondering is first off, if anyone else has experienced this. secondly, does anyone have a good way of getting rid of this? it sucked last night because it was the first time i got it in a real long time, and it just so happened i only had about 4 hours to sleep so it was rather annoying. sorry for the long post, but maybe i'm not the only crazy one out there. thanks.

i smoke a bowl before bed every night cause i can't sleep to begin with and it helps that, and i've had some good dreams after baking and going straight to sleep...i used to have nightmares b/c i had PTSD, but my brain learned to block out all my dreams for the most part, so i only remember 1 or 2 dreams every 2 weeks

1. try to manipulate them.

2. try to resolve what's causing them.

3. try to block ,ignore them.(drugs)

All the above have worked in the past. Any my super brain keeps making new ones.

Man I have horrible dreams I cant remember the last time I had a good dream, for the past couple of months I either waken up mad, sad, or just scared as shit, it really sucks.

I think im gunna stop sleeping for a few days.

not to try to pry into your business, but what is your dream about? if it is something that is wrong, then think of the steps you need to take to resolve that. if it isn't clear cut, or something just crazy and fucked up, your only permanent solution might be to talk to a shrink.

From what I can remember (haven't had it in forever), but it was like a football play being repeated over and over.

Obviously just need to get up and clear my head...smoke a bowl, etc...

I have recurring dreams, not too often, but over the span of my life, where I will trying to move. I will either be moving fast and lightly, flying or skipping over water that sort of thing, or slow and heavy, cant run, being chased, feeling trapped.

I have begun to wonder if it is correlated with good and bad times in my life.

I love dreaming...I'm finding that in my dreams, I can now go to past dreams I have had that were cool, just by thinking it....in my dream.

Like control them.

i cant even remember my dreams when i wake up, it feels as if i havent dreamed in a long time.

i still get nightmares, and ive had reoccuring dreams since i was real young. 1 stands out in my mind still, i was falling in a dark place, and it feels so real, then when i wake up it feels like i hit the ground.
