Any pictorial guides for broad definitions of strains?

Apparently leaf size/shape/texture can't be a reliable indicator of whether its indica, sativa, ruderallis, bullshitia, or whatever anymore.

So.

That being said, are the any PICTORIAL guides to strains? I think my 2 current, different ladies are a (siberian? northern lights x?) indica and an afghani*skunk indica. No clue. Could be way off.

I have no clue what my current babies are.

I thought my current babies were leathery cabbages of some sort at first, not cannabis at all. Just starting to look like pot at this point. Not a clue what they could be. Short, stubby plants with rounded, thick, corrugated, leathery dark leaves. You can see pics on this thread: Bending vs Straight Up Whatever they are, I call 'em Cabbage X. And I have several seeds of it.

The Big Book of Buds is a pictoral, and the latest version is quite up to date for a weed book.

If you can find Over-grows old strain guide somewhere on the net, it's an awesome pictoral guide.

it looks pretty indica to me.. but i think thats all ur really gunna be able to find out about it

Blä! I'm a cheap bastard. So far, my total expenditure in farming has been about $75 (canadian) for bulbs. Everything else is salvage: aquarium hoods for the CFT lights, broken metal bookase shelving unit, reflector panels made of alumonum foil over cardboard from flattened boxes, buckets... dumpster treasures. The only things I pay for are the things I GOTTA, like bulbs. If I could find a way to scavenge bulbs... I been looking at some of the HPS's in town that are within arms reach...

In other words, I'm not gonna walk into a store and BUY a book.

Hard to find, tho. Most overgrow stuff I find links for is 404, or worse. I don't want 404, I want 16 more.

u really shouldnt use alluminum foil in ur grow room.. instead of reflecting light effectively, it ends up burning your plants.. stick with mylar.. or paint ur room white

hehehe.. ya... i only use the foil when I have to. The walls are off white (more like eggshell) already. If/when I decide to go serious, I'm gonna do it up right. I saw a really nice full spectrum 250W CFT type bulb at the hydro store. I really like the coiled flouros; the store display model was putting out awesome lumens at 2 meters...

I'm pretty sure they're an indica, but I cant get over how small they are. the biggest is only 6" tall at 3.5 weeks. I'm amending my designation to Midget Cabbage X

The leaves do look "mapley", but I've seen pics of short Big Bud plants that look very similar to what they would look like if they were "straight up", ditto Lowryder x's - but she aint autobudding at 1 month, so whew!

Hard to say. Neighbor handed me a packet of seeds, said it came from a decent batch with lotsa seeds.
