grape ape purp

i just got a connec for this sick ass dank purp called grape ape which iv heard of before but i believe it to be slightly related to my personal favorite purp haze can anyone explain the relationship between the breeds if there is one and if not explain the purple genetics?

ive never heard of "grape ape" but there are a few different purple strains out there so i doubt it would be related to purple haze, and also plants grown in the cold can turn purple.

yes only strains capable of turning purple will actually turn purple in the leaves and buds, though some nutrient def's can cause the plant to turn to a dark reddish/purple until the defficiency is taken care of...

here on lost isle we plant in the upper rain foreston really cold nights it starts to turn purple lots of cool nighs it will turn almost black but still growing an lookin good but the same seeds planted lower ele seem to stay a more greenbut still blushes the purple in the tips my strin is sbout 20+years on lost isle we do enjoy the chronic head &smell
