New Super Skunk Variety?
Ok, this story begins when I bought a half ounce of Super Skunk that was seed ridden. Out of those seeds, I grew some plants which imbred themselves into the next generation. It's been about 4 or 5 generations of imbreeding now, and I think they've developed a good mutation. The last outdoor grow I started began to flower in the end of July or so, when there was still 18 hours of daylight. I ended up having my harvest in late august.
One concern though... with seeds that came from a hermaphrodite, will they naturally tend to be hermaphrodites, or more likely to be males? The reason for the previous hermaphrodite generations was neglecting to pull the males. But, this last outdoor grow, I only ended up planting two plants, and one was a hermaphrodite, which I pulled, but maybe too late. And one was a female... was... So, I know I can get some females, but will the percentages be reduced with seeds come from a hermaphrodite, or does it still depend on the level of stress at the time when the plant is making up it's mind, so to speak? |

i think there is more chance of getting females coz no male genes went into the seeds, although i would say that your chance of getting a few hermies will also rise.

From what I've read on it, you can't get any males from a seeded hermie... just as long as the only pollen to reach it was it's own... and not from another male...
you'll only get females and other hermies. |

If nobody's already done it before, maybe that would be something one of the more experienced growers could test out... for their benefit and ours. Interesting though. |

this is how they make feminized seeds.
They (breeders) purposely make hermies, or use chemicals and hormones to make male flowers on a female (or vice-versa) |
