Black Russian x Romulan

The Black Russian-Romulan cross has been going pretty nicely. Been a bit so thought I would post a picture.

Nebu's Black Russian F3 crossed to Federations Romulan.
Nice yields, nice smells and a great stone. There have been about 70% throwing purple calyx to one degree or another.
We have had some almost as dark purple as the mother was but none have matched her yet.
1 female was crazy with trichs but not a bit purple.

This girl is #9 of the third run, she is over 170 days old because she was forgotten in veg for a bit.
57 days flower and she will be harvested this weekend.

Nothing special about this one, she is run of the mill for the cross with the average purpling.(is that a word?)

Great to see you mate, glad the girls are keeping you interested.
She seems pretty squat for a long veg, but a nice main kola.
How's the rest of your garden?

Any idea when they would be ready if planed outside?

I wonder if I could make trees with them!

Good to see you too buddy.
She was forgotten in a milk cup (member? too small for a beer cup) for about ummm 160 days I would guess.
Poor thing.

She yielded about 1.8 oz dry which is good for her size upon entering flower.
The girls still have a lot of my attention for sure.
Funny thing is, I have had the mover shut down for the last 3 months. Been running huge numbers in veg and smaller in flower trying to get what we need from this strain.
The mother is lost now which sucks, but the progeny make up for that loss.
Still working the romulan a bit too.

The mover started again last week.

They are going about 12 days past what mama went in flower indoors, so the timing shouldn't be too bad.

so you're working on an f2 then, or beyond that already?

buds look frosty & nicely filled out as always. are you still a proponent of molasses? i read more & more about it now, and am always reminded of your past suggestions about it.

great to see a familiar face back around here... i have been quite busy with life in recent months myself, but some nice varieties arrived with the holiday season & have kept me warm through the first legit winter we've had in years.

hope to see you around more dan, and do say hello to the lady.

Some F2s have been made, but we are still growing out the F1s.
There are clones of all the best ones from seed in flower, or recently out already.
A few standouts. #8 from the first run was quite purple with nice frost, #5 from that same run was so insanely frosty, but as a clone she never got frosty again
Second run had some purlples most not. Nothing special in that run, but all nice plants with good yields and a nice stone.

The molassas? you bet. Great stuff to use on the house plants too.

Good to hear you are doing well and life is good. bongsmilie

I will be holding you to that one day
Going to have to somehow get one of those big cliff houses/mansions.
Now wouldn't that be a perfect growhouse?
