LUI x White Ruskaya
I have these in germ so I will post the usual blurb about the LUI and then some interesting info on the White Ruskaya that may not be the usual advert you would expect.
Legends Ultimate Indica The "Legends Ultimate Indica" is a combination of our two most favourite Indica's. A previously unreleased Ortega plant from California mothered this F1 hybrid. The Ortega's heavy Indica traits shone through with its' tight buds and extremely stony finish. The father, a second backcross Sweet Tooth from Spice of Life Seeds adds the sweet and pungent flavour Breeder Steve strains are know for. Specifications: Indoor/Outdoor Flowering: 8-9 weeks. Harvest: mid. Oct. White Ruskaya Nebu?s White Ruskaya Parentage: The White Ruskaya is a "White Russian" cross of AK47 & White Widow. Similar cross (same lines) as Serious Seeds-> "The big winner of the cup of all cups, the Cannabis Cup in the 1996 High Times Magazine Cannabis Cup competition. These seeds produce plants that are fantastic in both appearance, and effect. This is no surprise once you know that White Russian is a combination of the famous AK-47 and the equally well-known "White Widow" & the Brother's Grimm -> "...re-created this respected hybrid of AK-47 and White Widow. The father of Ice Princess pollinated a Serious Seed Co. AK-47 female with outstanding resin production and short stature. Expect dense, heavily frosted buds that cure to a pale green with orange pistils and smoke with a spicy flavour. The clear up high of AK-47, with a relaxing body effect from the White Widow. The Mum is my favourite White Widow; a '98 Aloha White Widow selection/cutting referred to as "Sweet Thing" (ala '180'). I really like this particular White Widow as it yields quite well, has a very sweet bubblegum-like flavour, and is very potent. The father is also one I've been working with from the 'Cherry' pheno AK47 - mum's of which produce colas such as the last pic attached. Performance: With the White Ruskaya - my goal was consistent performance with an incremental gain on the yield, bud structure/density & disease resistance from the phenomenal AK47 pheno. Also, to pass along the AK47's early preflower trait (for sex id of seedlings) while retaining the sweet flavour of both/either parent, as well as their other common strong traits (trichome production, potency, vigour, cloning, etc. ,etc.,). Tests have shown a consistent, solid improvement on the yield of the '98 Aloha White Widow. Taste is identical to the White Widow, almost no AK47 influence can be observed. Potency is extreme - very potent! This pheno is somewhat susceptible to Powdery Mildew, like the White Widow mum, in exposed circumstances. If you have PM issues in your region this hybrid will not show great resistance, but does respond to Neem & AQ10 treatments, etc., favourably. This is the last lot of this limited (no production planned) seed lot offering. 10 seeds/pkg. sent via Heaven's Stairway. Indoor/Outdoor/GH Flowering time: 55-60 days Indica%/Sativa%: 50/50 (est.) Potency & Profile: Very potent, up/powerful high [/quote] Daniel |

I never really thought about how far the lines went back. I wonder how many generations form the landrace strains they are.
one of my dreams is to travel to countries like nepal, afghanistan, Thailand or were ever wild Cannabis (not hemp) can be found, collect some seeds and then grow them.

Probably as far as you want away from a landrace.
![]() Funny thing about landrace.... they are as erratic as the come until stabilized. The Afghani is a stabilized landrace. The seeds I am expecting will be a totally unstabilized landrace sativa YIKES! Hopefully I get something grand from them. It's a good thing I am not exposing myself to it...or wait that means powdery mildew if placed outside hey? It should be interesting for sure. Daniel |

as for mildew in the LUI x White Ruskaya, I wouldn't do it outdoors unless I was in the dessert or soemthing it would just turn to mush in the fall over here. Although the description is nice.

[GBA] - farmer-developed cultivars of crop plants which are adapted to local environmental conditions. Generally when I say it I mean a plant that has not been bred with onether plant of a different kind. Bred only within it's own strain, or as close as possible. Daniel |

Pictures, oh yes.
Well, these babies are doing OK.
They are 20 days old and I have been letting them take thier time. They are small yet, so they may need more than the usual 30 days veg. I wouldn't mind letting them veg for 2 months, but I am not sure if I would like tham that large ![]() No problems with them at all, but they are still young ![]() I cropped the pics small so they could all fit in one post... we shall see. I am sorry, I totally forgot this thread.
I germed 4 of these babies, got 3 into veg for 45-52 days and got........... all males. They vegged beautifully and grew well with no problems. Short bushy plants |
