Yard/Garage Sales.....

Anyone ever go to them? I don't go make a day out of it, maybe a morning if I'm really bored....mostly just if I see some while passing by. Usually I don't find much, but the other day, I found a really cool turtle candle. So cute. Has little glass eyes and stuff. He was only .50

Yeah, he's got a little scratch...but he IS wax.

Yeah, I've pretty much decided I wasn't going to. It's just for cute.

Burn it.

Thats the ugliest candle I've ever seen.

I imagine you'd cop a killer buzz from whatever is making it so shiny too.

I'm sceptical as to that turtle being worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.

yard sales are the shit.

sometimes estate sales are even better.

except when their houses smell and shits overpriced.

but i've gotten lots of great stuff and stupid stuff over the years going to the garage sales. haven't gone in a long while.

usually i just look for records nowadays.

I'll go with my wife, but she knows she owes me when we get back home.

While we do sometimes find somthing that we need, more often than no we are just moving other peoples shit from their garage to ours. I hate clutter.

if i've got nothing specific to do when i drive by one ill stop. i bought some sweet sunglasses from a helicopter pilot the other day. i mostly am looking to see if they are selling any albums on vinyl because usually things are dirt cheap at garage sales.

the sunglasses were the ones he wore during some heli-skiing operation in the northwest territories. he asked for 1$ but i gave him 2$ anyway

I went to one on Memorial Day. Bought a camouflage skimask. I wore it on the walk home. Little kids started crying and dogs ran away with their tails tucked between their legs.
