swollen thumb?

last night a little past 7pm, i started feeling this nasty pain on my right thumb. it was throbbing and is swollen. after i few hours of pain last night, i decided to slice into this forming red dot near the area of pain, to no adieu.

i know the obvious answer is to hit up a doc, but i'm reluctant. last time i had an illness i went to the doctor three fucking times before they gave me an antibiotic that didn't show up like corn in my stool.

anyways, i can take tylenol and it won't hurt too bad, but it's wears off quick.

has anyone else had similar symptoms? if so, what did you do?

if you want serious help then you'll have tp be more specific on the type of pain and the area. is the pain under the nail? the bone? when you move it? etc.

there is a red dot a little less than a quarter inch from the right side of my thumb nail. the pain is a constant throbbing towards the tip of my thumb ... like the feeling you have after you've smashed it.

the pain is constant ... it can be still and it will still throb.

i looked around and i'm pretty sure it's some sort of internal infection. it's just been bothering me so much i was wondering if anyone had any similar experiences.

i went today ... some kind of infection from stubbing it.

good thing i went or i could have pulled a jack daniels
