but i have to pay back 300

so i get 100 to 200 a week

not bad for being in high school

still want a real job

Temp file clerk at a hospital's business office. No one pays attention to the temps, so we can basically fuck off all morning as long as we finish our work on time. 10 an hour, pretty good for my area of 'expertise' and the town I'm living in. Just had an interview for a permanent receptionist position. Really want to get back into college and need to make a game plan.

I’m too paranoid to say what I do, but I’ll say this much. I make a bit over $70,000, about average for someone of my gender, age and race in my area. My job requires an advanced degree, which I possess. My son likes to remind me that for the same number of years I spent in college I could have become a dentist and be making several times my present salary.

As part of my job I manage other people. As part of the people-managing part of my work, I am required to dismiss those that do what I do during their free time. While being dismissed for cannabis remains theoretical where I work, people have been let go because of meth and alcohol. Their use of these substances had become obvious, to the point where their own friends and co-workers had turned them in. In both cases these people were seen using DURING WORK. In both cases PAID treatment was offered as a condition of their continued employment. In both cases it was refused.
