i work for the local newspaper. assistant manager of circulation.
Cool, I've been trying to get a job as a reporter ever since I graduated college in May. No luck so far except a few freelance assignments. If I really want it I'm going to have to leave this area. Some buddies of mine are opening a restaurant in a few months and want me to manage it, though, so if things come together like they should I'll just do that instead.

Yeah, I think "numerous postings on a marijuana message board" looks great on a resume.

Sophomore in a Big Ten college.

I'm currently the associate director of the pit band that travels with a local choral group, so I suppose I'm a musician by trade..

Nothing.. And i absolutely love it.

I mean i'd love to do something, but my college education was a waste. I didn't think i'd have to sell life insurance (or other things people don't need) to others to make a living with a college degree. Sadly no one informed me you don't get a job unless you have a very high GPA, know someone, or are an accounting/finance major.

If you're going to school for business, get into IT or finance/accounting for a job. Don't do anything else in that horrid school of business.

I help the NWO corporations stick their dicks into mother earth and suck out her precious oily lifeblood. Seeing Death or dismemberment as people and equipment fuck up in the world's harshest conditions 12-16 hours a day is part of the job.

That's not what the major is. It's just really taking a few classes of everything from the business school for your major.

No, I didn't go to college to be a secretary.
