Your extra curricular activities.

I need some ideas on getting out and having some fun, being constructive etc.

What do you guys do for fun?

Without involving booze or drugs, weed is alright though.

Awesome ambitions turm

I dance, do kick boxing and volleyball..

I also volunteer for big sisters, various daycares and a local shelter.

Its great getting involved with the community, and keeps you busy and for me personally a lot happier.

I do a lot of different styles, this year its; Modern, Jazz, Hip hop and Salsa.

If you're interested in a class, I recommend a Hip hop or lyrical class run by the community, it'll be a lot more laid back and fun than other styles at actual studios. Its a blast, I definately suggest trying it out. Perfect time to sign up as well.

Snowboarding is lots of fun. Its something you could get your kids into a couple times every winter. I hear Canada has some crazy mountains.

I just started trying to paint on Saturday. A new hobby I hope to have for a while.

School takes up a lot of time.

I go on bike rides with my younger siblings sometimes. Its a fun diversion from an otherwise ordinary day.

Walking the dog is fun too, especially if its getting late and I'm not tired. A good way to get some exercise in at night.

I recommend that you take Capoeira classes. It's a Brazilian martial art/dance that's incredibly fun and pretty easy to pick up, not to mention it will get you in killer shape. My dad just moved out to Hawaii and there is a Capoeira class there - everyone from my 2-year old half-brother to me and my 40-year old stepmom do it.

Also, if there is a chapter near you (I'm not sure if it's in Canada, but idk), I would volunteer for Food Not Bombs, a great organization with some really interesting/enlightened people. The chapter near me meets every Sunday to give out food, a great way to do some good and meet people.

I play poker. The Italian-American community center near where I live has a game, I'm sure there are plenty of places near you like that that do, and sometimes casinos have poker nights, so you can get out and meet new people that way too.

I just took up a hooby that I have been interested in for quite some time. Graffitti/Spray painting. Done a few pieces already, and I really enjoy it. I think that it is the larger scale that I enjoy, it's just too frustrating working small, and you've gotta sit and draw for hours, fuck that, few cans of paint and an idea is all I need, for now anyways. Also try skateboarding, or golf, two other things that I personally enjoy doing.

make music. Ive been playing drums for about 14 years now. Gardening, can be weed or any other plant, preferably weed though. What can I say? I like to grow stuff. Of course go hit up movies and play video games for hours.
