"Freedom"
What does this word mean to you in essence? What is it? How does one embody it?

Well it means plenty of things to me, in plenty of contexts, but ultimately it means a lack of oppression.
I am free to smoke marijuana, and I do, but I am not free of being persecuted for it. Real freedom would mean I could do stuff like that without fearing systematic reprisal. However, I also think some limits on absolute freedom are good, because they breed greater freedom by granting freedom from, in their suppression of other freedoms. Such as being free to live without having my home invaded by thugs, or the freedom to own possesions etc.. It can many thing. Spiritually it means the most to me, to feel empowered and unlimited, despite 'laws' or whatever else. |

Its a social construct. We are not free. If we we were we could do whatever we wanted. We are limited and thus not totally free. Maybe total freedom isn't the smartest thing to have anyways.
