Also worth noting from that area;

stellas bigger heavier brother, acquired taste though. They make an even darker/heavier version called "Leffe Brun", not a massive fan of heavy/dark beers though.

I tried Leffe from a bottle a few weeks back, it seemed nice, but rather light in colour and perhaps flavour for my tastes.

Every Stella I've had is always skunked. I guess I'm pretty unlucky. I'm fine with Heineken or Grolsch anyway.

I've got lots of favorites. Lets see if I can keep it pretty brief.

Cheaper:

Yuengling
Rolling Rock
Negra Modelo

Fruit beer:

Oxford Raspberry (soon to be Organic)
Dogfish Head Aprihop (drinking one now!)
Dogfish Head Punkin Ale

Lager/Brown Ale/White Ale:

Sam Smith Organic Lager
Sam Smith Nut Brown Ale
Newcastle
Hoegaarden
Bell's Winter White
Clipper City Baltomarzhon

Ale:

Stone IPA
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
Bell's Oberon Ale
Bell's Two Hearted Ale
Tupper's Hop Pocket Ale (RIP )

Stout:

Guinness
Young's Double Chocolate
Sam Smith Oatmeal Stout
Clipper City Peg Leg Imperial Stout

Pardon me, I'm bored and a little buzzed. That and I work at a liquor store.

My favorite is Weissbier. Or a hefewiezen. Haven't found a good one in the states, well that I can afford to drink regularly. Only place I found for a good german beer wants 3.50 a bottle. Oh any Pyramid hefewiezen pisses me off so no I will not buy that. (only reasonable priced one I have seen).

So generally I drink the light stuff: Coors light or a Budwieser.
My goal is to find something a bit darker but I can't stand something like Sierra Nevada. Unless I am eating and drinking then I enjoy it.

Is it possible to get beer delivered from a website? Anyone know a good one? The grocery store right by my house has a terrible selection.

LOL @ the wife beater. It really does mess you up!

I kind of go through fazes of liking different beers. Some current and previous favourites:

Cobra
Carlsberg Export
Kronenbourg 1664
Hoegarden\Leffe - White beers knock you on your a55!!

Hoegaarden actually has a relatively low abv. I guess you could mean because it's so easy to drink you drink more and yadda yadda though.

Negra Modelo gets my vote, had some just last night actually. Never had Pacifico.

My bro is brewing a stout right now, I'm stoked to give it a try, it'll be a few more weeks but I'll let you all know how it turned out.

Now, I don't drink the beer, I don't like it...whatever. But, did you guys know that Coors Foundation/Family is EXTREMELY conservative, and does not contribute to any causes related to gay/lesbian community? Even though the son of the head of Coors is openly gay...the gay and lesbian community rejects Coors. They've (gay bars) had a ban on their products for like 25 years or something?
So don't ever find yourself in a gay bar trying to order one, cuz you'll get your ass kicked, laughed at, or kicked out...I'm just sayin.
