I know.....but compassion and self respect.....love of fellow humans.....and most important is self love because ya can't love others right if you don't love and respect yourself. I am not pontificating to you as I have done things in my life that now in my last years am not proud of.

But along the way I figured it all out and now try very hard to treat others with dignity and respect. How can you expect from others what you are not willing to give yourself? But it is quite easy in the dog eat dog mindframe of many in these times to become imbittered and to react to bad people in negative ways. BUT I refuse to lower my personal standards and I can only control myself and my own actions. And hopefully it sets an example for some. BUT it does make me a happier and more tranquil person personally. Maybe that is my reward. Randome acts of kindness are a wonderful for good karma......all goes back to BASICS in any ideology.....GOOD BREEDS GOOD! bab breeds bads. Most often that is.....but.....bad things do happen to "GOOD PEOPLE" but far less often.

idk. a good self image is healthy, and bad things happen to good people all the time(war, theft, that sorta thing) ..and on a fairly large scale, i might add.

A good self image is very important INDEED! But unfortunately many....many children are born in situations where the parents or parent are inept, uneducated, incompetant, or unable due to organic disease are not able to teach children how to have a good self image. That is a major reason for America being a "Prozac Nation"

early nurturing and role models are essential to a positive outcome in this area. But those born into unfortunate circumstances....whi ch is very widespread actually.....they have to seek counciling and learn how to have a good self esteem and self image. It can be done fortunately. BUT NEVER in my personal life have I observed that doing bad things and victimizing others would do something positive for the perp. But I am lucky to have an advanced degree in a medical profession....so having studied psych extensively and observing many normal and abnormal humans I have an advantage of looking at it abstactly also......and this helped me solidify my personal philosiphy on self accountability. Hope this is not boring you as I apologise about drifting off topic.....but really good weed cause that to happen.....LOL.

ya know you are a pretty smart fellow and you have it right. One needs a good self image without being self absorbed. But don't you agree that you have to be your own best friend? That is where I am at this stage of my life. Until very recent I have been absorbed in caring for others in career and family. Now am learning to care more about myself and enjoy my last years at peace. Damn I am way off subject....but you are very deep and interesting to read. I am looking for a weed forum with intellectual stoners hopefully if possible.

I've been trained to use these Escrima sticks proficiently by a highly respected, Dan Insanto trained instructor.

i'm also handy with a blade and in hand to hand combat.

I keep the sticks in my room along with a louieville slugger with some blood stains on it.

I never thought that I would have to defend myself in my house, but friends of mine got held up at knife point for their drugs in their 4th floor appartment not that long ago and so i've started to find myself locking doors when i never used to and thinnking up defendable positions, escape routes, etc.

Was actually just kidding as it is an oxymoron. Lots of hot women in churches and roving eyed preachers for that matter. But MOST religions do teach that sex is for procreation and not for fun and intimacy. I should have given up sex by now if I bought into my religious teachings from childhood. When you were brainwasshed in certain religious ideologies it does affect your outlook on sex. NOT ALL WOMEN....but trust me.....many....many. I have knowledge professionally of this condition and have worked with these women to free their brain and reprogram it....

So I was just really dramatizing it for sport. I assume this is a liberal weed board and not all are MENSA......but I have met MENSA on a weed forum actually.

FREE AT LAST! And hopefully we legalize mmj soon.

I too live deep in the bible belt-music city usa- and boy I wish you could talk to my girlfriend-both a guilt-ridden cannabis user and love-maker-all from this church lying under a guise of love for all.

blah-i digress

you sound familiar-but blah. I just wish more women could live without the guilt

if that makes any sense

lol, god punished eve with "the curse"//(what a rip) Estrous cycle - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Quote:
In the female reproductive system, the menstrual cycle is a recurring cycle of physiologic changes that occurs in reproductive-age females. Overt menstruation (where there is blood-flow from the vagina) occurs primarily in humans and close evolutionary relatives such as chimpanzees.[1]

I was born & raised Catholic...back in the 50s & 60s, I attended Catholic school & now hearing about the priests doing altar boys just affirms my belief about how hypocritical organized religion is.
Now I'm living in the Bible Belt & the Baptists are the worst for being 2-faced. When I 1st arrived here in 1983, I tended bar in a restaurant for awhile. The Baptists would come in for dinner & 1 by 1, they'd stop into the bar & ask for a quick shot of whiskey...hiding it from the others. Funny thing was, they were all hiding it from 1 another.

And I've been waiting for Legalization ever since States started decriminalizing in 1974. I swore by 1980, we'd be buying it in liquor stores.
Man, was I way off!!
