I/we really like the 3/4. I'm not sure how much we'd care for the 24 on 48 off. That would take some getting used to. That's a typical "city" dept schedule. Schedule A I think. Or something.
Ugh, this summer with the fires so bad they went to 21 days on, 2 days off. No joke. They were exhausted.
-sorry for the double post and getting a bit off topic...QUICK! someone post something awesome about today!

^^yeah...when they say "resourses are tapped" during ca's wildfire season, it's no joke. literally every state firefighter is working 24/7. Either on the actual fireline, or on cover assingments at other stations. When it goes like that for weeks, they gotta start working in some relief somewhere so they start with whose been on the longest and go from there. it's craziness.

Today kicks ass because I walked to the bus stop in the snow, waited for 30 minutes angrily until I couldn't feel my hands, and decided that not only was it never coming, but that I wasn't going to any classes. Walked home with a j, upon arriving home, got in warm clothes, smoked the rest of a blunt some guy gave me last night, and made hot chocolate from real chocolatebits. HELL FUCKIN YEAH ITS FRIDAY.

Today is kickass because...my husband comes home tomorrow! For sure this time! lol. His relief won't be there until tomorrow morning, so he'll be home mid/late morning. HOWEVER, I went and bought him a 12 pk of New Castle and Call of Duty World at War today. He's gonna be sooo suprised! That's awesome.
