Cold Steel
Is anyone else here interested in knives? I have, well, a few to say the least. There's a knife in about every drawer in my room and scattered all over the place in my house. It's a great tool and I use it everyday.
I have always carried knives and always had Swiss army knives, but I never really liked how large it was or how there's no thumb stud.
So a couple weeks ago I lost my regular knife in the wash or something so I started carrying this little guy. When I don't have a knife on me, I really do notice it because I use my knife every day. Carrying this multi-tool-knife is great.
I have noticed that the inconvenience of not being able to open it quickly is offset by the other conveniences. The tweezers, toothpick, and scissors are great help rolling joints. I have found the bottle opener/screwdriver and the large blade are also really great tools and see frequent use.

Look, the Leatherman can suck my shit anyday.
I tried carrying one around and it's just too bulky and a pain in the ass to use. It's primary function is a pair of pliers. The Swiss army knife is designed so that it's primary function is whatever tool your have out. For example, if the knife it out, the knife is like the physical focal point of the tool, it's obvious to your hand that you're going to be cutting or stabbing. There's no fucking around with the pointy part of pliers.
If you want to use the screwdriver on the Leatherman, you need to unfold the entire thing. Then it sucks to actually use it as a screwdriver because it's off center and falls off the screw. The leatherman is still a great tool, but I prefer the Swiss Army knife over it due to how simply it is and how small it is in your pocket.
The leatherman is something I would keep on my if I'm working on the Jeep or doing electrical work. In fact I keep a multi tool in my console.
Plus I don't have any of that pussy carbon fiber on my knife. I've got red plastic on my knife. It used to be white, but got stained red from all the people I've stabbed.

Fuck the SA knife, it doesn't even lock. Plus it's thin and tiny (good luck stabbing) , and prone to snapping from experience.
ftw

My brother has the tool Nun posted, it's pretty nifty. The bottle opener is cool but is kind of weird to use for the first time.
I've never had my knife snap on me.
Either way Grieves knows what's up. Full tang, Damascus blade is where it's at.

I used to be into throwing knives but then I quit when I was able to get three out of three to stick in the tree.
I wonder if I could still do it.
