i think a lot of companies drug test in some areas and don't drug test in other areas. for instance i had a buddy who worked at olive garden in northern virginia (upscale suburbanite country) and another friend who worked at olive garden in the hampton roads area of virginia (middle class area i'd say but definitely not a "rich" area of the country). needless to say in northern va there was no drug test and in hampton roads there was.

all that said i can still list all the companies i've worked for that didn't drug test:
bed bath and beyond (awesome place to work btw)
fairfax county park authority (golf course snack bar management division)
tropical smoothie
blockbuster

also, none of the restaurants i've worked at (ranging from upscale to hole in the wall) have drug tested. i've heard of a couple restaurants that drug test, but they're few and far between and to be perfectly honest if the restaurant industry didn't accept at least a little bit of drug use from its employees then the restaurant industry would not have a labor force.

Well, it was over 10 years ago when I had other legal substances (Alcohol) I could self-medicate with - if I had to do it today, I simply would inform the company of my medical MJ status and if they still had a problem, I wouldn't seek further employment with that company.

You cannot get arrested for failing a drug test for employment, or refusing to take one either, so fuck them if that's what they want to do.

I've been drug tested twice. I passed the first (piss test) with the help of Test Clear's powdered piss. I failed the second, not because the piss kit I had didn't work, but because they wanted hair instead. Hair tests are difficult to get around, and there are no proven methods to beat them.

The thing I realized afterward was how ashamed it made me feel to get "caught in a lie" so to speak. My first reaction was to protest my innocence, as if I had done something wrong by smoking pot. Now that I've had time to think about it, I don't ever want to be in that position again. Next time, I'm not going to try to fake anything. Fuck them if they refuse to hire a good employee because they can't see past the propagandist views of drugs in our culture.

my last job i worked at a liquor store. smoked outside everytime i worked while on the job. the boss clearly must have caught on from watching the cameras after me and another kid did the same routine all the time. he finally actually told me that he knew i had smoked at work, but didnt even fire me. i think it was because he knew we worked well either way, haha.

haha I´ve been there for three years and nothin plus my schedule fits for my school and I just play video games all day cuz my customers are all really old...
