took a hit and fainted! anyone???

i've been smoking for a long time, about 20 years. this has never happened, so this episode that happened today has shocked me completely.
i loaded up the bong which already had a little hash in it, took a hit, stood up and leaned back on the hood of my car.
next thing i know i'm peeling my face off the garage floor! drool coming down my chin, the whole business. i smacked my forehead on the pavement, and i think i tweaked my neck, but worst of all i injured my foot pretty damn bad!
i took a hit and fainted. i've taken a hit many times, hash and all, then stood up and i've been fine. this was just so shocking! i've never fainted in my life.
has this ever happened to anyone else here?

Sounds like you just stood up too fast with a combo of just taking a hit. I've never had that happen though. I've taken a huge hit and stood up real fast and gotten all dizzy and lightheaded but was able to sit back down and gather myself. Maybe just a one time deal. Odd though I suppose. Sorry you got all fucked up though! That sucks.

i suppose that makes sense...yes. it's just...play that scenario like everyday for years and years, and then this one time, you faint. weird. oh well. nothing a little icepak and bud can't fix! : ) and makeup! i have an egg on the head. hahaha. it is pretty damn funny, though. thank God the intervention cameras weren't rolling! LOL

My guess is, if you faint once every twenty years of smoking, then unless you only smoke once every twenty years, it's not the weed that made you faint.

It's probably a tumor. Or your blood sugar was a bit off and you stood up too quick. One or the other.

When I used to do hash hot knives- If you took a perfect hit you would drop pretty much everytime

I've fainted in other situations though like running to the door. Probably like already said a ombo of lack of oxygen, head rush, and high concentration of thc/oxygen ratio in your lungs.

me, and a friend of mine, both have this thing that happens were we have passed out some time after taking a hit that is triggered by high stress

it was probably from a quick change(likely a quick drop from the bt you took) in ur blood pressure combined with taking a huge breath in.

This happened to someone at my place--but from a joint of SHWAG. Stood up and started walking then fell face first into a wall almost breaking his nose. It looked like he got beat up in a bar fight hahah.
Definitely from lack/screwed up oxygen in your system though

no, my blood pressure is really good, actually. had it checked on friday, and it was 110/74.
i guess it was just a fluke.

rubix- i'm sure i am a little dehydrated
xil- thankfully, i placed the bong in it's home before taking the dive. i thought about that too after the fact.
osirus- i was sooooooooooooo damn high. holy shit was i high.

110/74 is kinda low isnt it?

anyway, glad you didnt get seriously injured. i hope you dont have to take a dive ever again

I've had it happen before.

Took a hit off of a bowl while standing up, next thing I know I have a lump on my forehead from passing out and smacking my head into the wall on the way to the ground.

Ive only blacked out one time in my life, it was the morning after a lot of drinking and smoking. I woke up, went to the bathroom to take a leak, was pissin, then all of a sudden im laying in the litter box with my pants half down and the back of my head hurts like hell.

when i was younger and stupider i did a sleeper hold on myself and fell face first on the floor. i woke up with a red mark right between my eyebrows, kinda like the mark of buddha.
