Smuggling
So when I go back from university I want to smuggle some weed back for some friends back home, you know? But to do so I need to take two trains, one to London and then one home.. Big city, busy trains, expensive tickets..
Think I'm likely to get searched? If so, can I just say "No thanks" without getting kicked off?
Perhaps this is silly, but I've been searched at airports and ferries before, I'm guessing trains do the same?

I traveled by train two summers ago from Germany to Amsterdam and back and was never searched. However my cousin was caught with weed and hash in the Netherlands on a train because the police had a dog who was able to smell it. I would not risk it you should be able to find it anywhere. They did let him off the hook after confiscating it. No big deal.

Based on the fact I have no fucking idea where you live this is what I have to say. You can take certain precautions to attempt to prevent getting caught, but nothing will get in the way of fate. It's your personal decision to risk it, you know the consequences, it's all you man. If you think it's worth it, go for it.

/\/\/\/\ That's pretty good advice right there. I don't know about nowadays. 35 yrs ago, I was regularly bringing weed to Chi-town from Tucson. Sometimes flying commercial airlines [0 security basically] or driving it...anywhere from 40 to 80 lbs.
Never thought twice about the driving aspect. No drug checkpoints back then...no seat-belt stops or DUI deals. Flying was a little more nerve-racking, but terrorism wasn't even a factor & had no close calls.

/\/\/\/\ Exactly!! But don't do FedEx or UPS...keep it in regular mail, using Priority Mail.
