does marijuana help?

I heard from my cousin that marijuanna helps boost up your metabolism while your doing it and you get skinnier if you don't eat when you get the munchies. But he says that if you eat while you have the munchies it gets you fatter. Is this true?

^right, losing weight shouldnt be too hard. if you eat right and exercise you should see your desired results. as for marijuana's affect on weight, ive heard it causing both weight gain and weight loss. id suggest methamphetamine if you want to go the drug route though.

I understand what you're saying, but cmon. That is only a short term answer.

If you don't eat, of course you won't gain weight. Eat a balanced diet and exercise, that's the key.

either way being off the stuff. i lost 5 lbs and my appetite's been down. and I keep throwing up don't know why.

in my opinion marijuana can be one the best things to pick up a persons appetite...

My appetites been down as well, and I've lost alot of weight. I just can't seem to eat. My stomach will growl, but no food sounds good enough to eat. Its starting to be a problem. Therefore I'm going to try and get some bud today, and tell my parents I'm quitting the snowboard team.

lol, just quit the team, its not worth it, the golf team sucked for me and i was like fuck this, i don't need to prove anyone i can golf.

The best thing I've found about it is:

1. Reduces neuropathic pain
2. Reduces pain and nausea in the gastrointestinal tract
3. Reduces mental stress

As for the +/- of weight loss, I think that's pretty subjective. A lot depends on the kinds of foods you eat when you have the munchies.

I don't know about stimulating metabolism. I know potheads who are of average build, skeletal, chubby, obese...any body type you can think of.

I even know some meth-heads and junkies who are considerably overweight, so don't rely on any drug to give you the physical build you desire.
