Come to the Colorado MMJ PROTEST TOMORROW
Constitutional rights have been in place for almost seven years regarding the medicinal use of cannabis within Colorado through Amendment 20. We are asking that ALL SYMPATHETIC citizens, and ALL patients registered with the Colorado Department of Health's Medical Marijuana Registry come to this important jury trial. Gain better understanding of your vested interest as well as showing support. THANK YOU!
Colorado AIDS Patient at Risk by Timothy Tipton PLEASE SHOW YOUR SUPPORT & COME TO THE FAILED DRUG WAR POLICY PROTEST RALLY April 4 at 8:30 a.m. Judge Crabtree Room 403 Adams County Justice Center, 1100 Judicial Center Drive, Brighton, Colorado ******************** ******************** ************ ONE MOTHER'S PLEA: OPEN LETTER TO Colorado Governor RITTER, My son Jack Branson has a serious legal problem that we are requesting your help with. Jack has AIDS, hepatitis B, a slipped disc and neuropathy. He takes 18 to 20 pills a day for medical conditions. To help him with his nausea, pain and ability to keep his lifesaving medications down, he is on medical marijuana. He is on Medicaid and SSI since he is unable to work. He is a patient at University Hospital and various doctors have told him to use marijuana, but would not sign for a license because they are federally funded and are afraid of losing this funding. Back in October, 2004, my son was raided and 14 marijuana plants were confiscated. At the time, he did not have a medical marijuana license, but did have medical records proving his condition dating back to 1991. After numerous court appearances, Jack is now on trial because he could not accept their plea bargain. A criminal charge could cause him to lose his Medicaid and SSI. He now has a medical marijuana license because he went outside of University Hospital system to obtain one. He has had AIDS and chronic hepatitis B for almost 20 years and I am convined medical marijuana is what has made him a long term survivor. My son has no criminal record , his only "crime" is trying to stay alive using medical marijuana. His court date is APRIL 4, 2008 through April 6, 2007 at the Adams County Justice Center in Brighton ( 1100 Judicial Center Drive, located just off Bromley Lane exit of I-76. The DA trying the case is Trevor Morisky. My son can not survive without his medical marijuana and Medicaid. We are requesting your intervention, since medical marijuana was approved by the Colorado voters in November, 2000. Please review Jack's plight and my fears and concerns as his mother. If found guilty on charges of cultivation and possession with the intent to distribute, you consideration and granting a pardon will be GREATLY APPRECIATED. Respectfully yours, A Democratic Voter Margaret Branson Last edited by COmidnightrider; 04-04-2007 at 04:48 PM. |

God that is a good story. But i dont wanna seem like a dick. But I dont see how people are gonna fight it if he had 14 plants in his house and no license to grow them.
I wish the guy luck though. |
