Does smoking MJ cause Glaucoma? Anybody ?

I was recently diagnosed with Uveitic glaucoma, and was almost immediately installed with a Glaucoma valve. I have been an active smoker of MJ for almost 27 years. I want to know if this habit could have caused my optic condition. Does anybody Know? Help!! My doctors dont seem to want to go on record wit an answer...so....im in search of answers ...as usual c

i've only ever heard of weed relieving glaucoma.

It would be interesting to know if your pot smoking may have prevented you from going completely blind before your diagnosis.

My mom (74 years old) has a doctor's recommendation to use cannabis for her glaucoma IN ADDITION TO her eye drops.

I used to smoke with my dad before he died, but I've never lit up with mom. She's kind of private about her weed usage, and rarely brings up the subject.
