Post Medicinal uses of Cedar..............

For those who have a bad cough or a chest cold...........you might consider this remedy!

Boil up 6 litres of water.........once it reaches a boil add 100-200 grams of cedar leaf.

Remove from stove and put a towel over your head and breath in the vapors.............. .5 minute spurts.
(3 in total)

Stay warm after treatment!

In a 1/2 hour, you will cough out the BAD................. ......
Might even be yellowish........... .....

thanx so much for sharing this!
it really worked better than i expected, it didnt take a half hour to work
it is so easy and simple since i have cedar trees growing just a few steps from my door,
i am for sure going to tell everyone i know about this. it just goes to prove that for many things in life, the old ways are the best ways

I knew it would work.....I knew it!

I'm so glad to hear you tried it and got results. There's so many uses for fresh and dried Cedar.

Cedar........Lemmy babble a bit, k?

If someone has a bad case of Arthritis, bathing in a Cedar bath does wonders for pain.
Or, if a person is prone to athletes feet or just have sweaty, smelly feet after a hard days work...........soak the feet in a foot bath.

Small bundles of Cedar in closets........keeps them smelling fresh and bug free.

Thats awesome Pharm Girl, thanks for sharing.

I had heard about this method in history, where the native canadians helped out some sick europeans in the winter, but didn't know the details. I would love to try this as there is cedar all over these parts.
