Heres my setup:
Veg
2 Dual 4ft flourescents
2 30W daylight CFL
Flower
2 42W soft white floros
1 150W Hps

My two biggest plants are about 6 weeks old but grew really slow for the first 3 weeks because of shitty soil. I have a couple seedlings that are about a week old and im going to flower April 1st. These are all bagseed.

I figure at least half will be males so it cant be that bad and its 18gallons. Im not flowering today because i have to setup my hps but i cannot due to injuries i sustained from the police so once i can hold weight with both arms flower will begin

I don't doubt the fat harvest part at all. I was laughing at the "it can't be that bad" part! And looking at the plants in yer tub, yer in for a wild adventure, and I'm sure it'll be rewarding in the end. I'm just saying yer gonna have an interesting grow.

Its been awhile since my last post because the camera phone wasnt cutting it with the HPS so ive been looking for my camera wich ive finally found so new pics when the batterys are done charging

I got into my crawl space to find my HPS off
I noticed it flickering on and off for about a half an hour the other day as well. When i looked at it just now it was making a small whistling sound and was barely on is it just the bulb or somthing else

Those who told me that it was a small container you were right and i didnt know what i was talking about *looks at the floor ashamed* I pulled up 4 of the litler plants cuz they were gonna die from lack of light after the bushmasta and #1 took over. I really need to know about my HPS so I can get a new bulb or complete new setup asap. any advice welcomed

I don't see how the bulb can make sound unless there's air leakage on the glass envelope; I'm willing to bet it's the ballast. Was this HPS purchased new recently? If so, it may still be under "walk in & exchange" time frame of store you bought at. In the meantime, keep as many flouros/CFLs going as you can.

hey bro keep up the good work, this is a fun thread to follow, and don't sweat it, sometimes we all plan too big for the reality of our grow space. My 1st grow was a hydroponic setup in 3x3x4 feet of space with 6 plants of unknown origi. The plants ended up very tall (looked quite sativa to me), way too many plants getting way too big for the space I had, and they literally 'blew the roof' off my grow space. Weeks and weeks of pruning, tying, and tweaking got them through to flowering. The result was a half pound of so-so quality weed. Next grow I grew only 3 plants, and made sure they were smaller plants. Only one was female, but I got the same weight of herb of this one plant than I did from 6 others. It was healthy, had plenty of room, and because of that gave me some great rewards.

So the short rule is that we learn by fucking up shit, but the good news is that weed is a weed, and that makes it hard to kill. So I'm sure you'll get some results you can be proud of from your grow. And next time 'round you'll have a better idea of what's going on, and you'll get that primo shit that will have all your buddies banging on your door (probably not that good a thing, but it does happen, believe me). Just make sure you tell them that a friend gave it to you and that you didn't grow it!

Time for the new update I still havent gotten a new 150hps cuz i need a whole new thing not just the bulb so i setup my 50 watt hps so currently i have 1 50watt hps a 42watt cfl and a dual 4ft shop light 40 watts each. I plan on getting a new 150 here in the next few days. Anywayz heres the pics.

WTF?!?! Theres a bunch of views but nobody has advice or comments If your gonna view please say somthing im feeling alone in here. Anywayz ill post more pics tommorow the plnts are looking really good i think and the buds are a little bit bigger

Yeah man, good point.
I dont know much about your growspace etc, but as for lights; good lights will give better yields, and decrease stretch. If you are running out of space you will be topping them, or training them, or both. Dont have much more to say, except it's a good thread, sometimes it's just slow mate.
Consider the thread entirely your own, and do whatever you want with it. I've been running a thread for ages that I had high hopes for, it gets very few posts but i still like keeping that thread going.
Cant tell about that possible herm photo, how are your plans for a dig cam going?

Anyway, yes we read. Yes, it slow. Don't feel bad. Sometimes things get lost in the shuffle. Especially in this subforum when "sack/nug pics" goes through a flurry. Cuz I'll be honest, I don't check this sub if all I see in the overview is a new post in sack/nug pics.

Which is why I keep my growlogs in the nursery rather than here.
