trainwreck
got a monster down there right now, shes under a 1000w super metal halide, had been in soil, when put in the 5 gallon bucket, i filled it in with a 60/40(p heavy) perlite vermiculite mix, and adjusted the watering ph to 6.0ish. shes getting fed the an sensi bloom(up until today she had been getting weened off of the veg fert, no more of that from now on).
a week and a half into flower, stay tuned for weekly updates. ![]() ![]()

always awesome things when you post man.. definitely glad to see you around, looks like you're doing well.
bet the main stem is a monster... the v/p mix is interesting.. entirely without soil? what's the watering schedule like doing it as such? was this a similar clone to your previous wreckage? i seem to remember good things. seen a similar LST style around here, definitely been inspired to return to a bit of soil thanks to you, D & Dan. ![]()

the base of the main stem is thicker than the widest spot on my thumb, nice and thick. and yup, its from the same line that i had pics of before, this one is about twice as big as the last, plus this time i wont have to deal with the friggin summer heat. im expecting much good things from this babe.
i water every day, feed her every other day. also on every 3rd or 4th day i will give her 2 mils per gallon of sm-90 to keep the spider mites away(i hate fucking spider mites) the ideal method for the v/p mix(when youre not transplanting into it from a soil grow like i did with this one) is to have a closed bucket with one hole drilled about 2-3 inches up from the bottom on the side for drainage, and thats it. fill with v/p, and every time you water just make sure you get some runoff. its whats known as the "hempy bucket," named after a dude who posts(i think its here anyways, im not a member, so i cant remember exactly where it was at) up at grasscity. whether grown in soil or hydro, the most important factor in the plants growth is how much tlc you put into them. keep a close eye on them and be patient and good things will come.

topping! ach no, i wouldnt ever dream of such a thing. i have never seen an instance where a plant had been topped where it could not have simply been bent and lst'd or supercropped and reached the same, if not better result.
when my plants are young, i start bending them around. here was the trainwreck before my current one, when she was a wee youngling ![]() and ill just take her, bend her as low as possible, and secure ![]() 4 weeks later its lookin like this ![]() and just...repeat as necessary. this ones not a trainwreck, but another one of my heavily trained plants ![]()
