Read the F.A.Q.'s section and browse back through the many threads in this section. Most of your questions may have already been answered in depth. Where you can't find answers, please ask "SPECIFIC" questions if you want a useful answer to your inquiry. How to grow is a subject that literally spans 1000's of pages of info.

Don't grow in your parents yard.

Nvm, do what ever you want.

Think of security first.
Then look for a spot with excellent full sunlight hours.
Work out how you will water them.
Dig a hole, plant the seed, water when required, harvest, cure, smoke.
It's pretty easy really.

It would help if you had some experience growing vegetable plants in a garden or something like that as its not really that different. I would suggest not growing on your property. Also, I would suggest finding some seeds that you know are going to mature in your climate. Taking seeds out of a bag is really a crap shoot. Why waste all that time, risk, and effort on seeds that may turn out like crap in your climate. Your not far from Canada. Read some seed catalogs and hook up with somebody going up there. Good Luck. Live it up!

There are several outdoor grow threads in this forum. read them and get an idea of what you will face.
Basic facts...In Ontario ,babies should not be placed outside til late April/Early May as light duration is not high enough and frost is still a possibility before then. Plant your seeds at the end of February in plastic beer cups full of soil. Put them in a warm(25c)place under a floro light 24 hours a day and let them sprout.Plant many seeds as some will not sprout, some will be deformed and some will be males.
You will need to read up on pruning, sexing and care, and it's all in the forum somewhere.

Nice idea growing your own weed but.....
You havent thought it all through...
In your parents backyard???That might cause big big problems(even bigger if your parents catch u with some weed..
If you cant have your own in safety I think its better to buy once in a while than to take a risk(and with these kind of seeds.....)
When u are ready do it wright, then do it....
