Wink Outdoor grow - Could use your help

About two weeks ago i planted eight seeds, four of a strain called purple power, two of some unknown strain, and two of some outdoor growing mix that the seed company sent me.

I put each seed in a plastic pot probably about one cubic foot and filled miracle grow potting mix. The boys saw a few rainy days and i got a bit worried, so i covered each with a white plastic bag till the rain past.

After a few days i had four sprouts, but the heavy rain continued.

Today they've had plenty sunny days but a few thunderstorms as well. One of the sprouts died but i now have three healthy plants. I can post pics soon. But any advice about plant food, covering the plants, what soil to use, and eventually evaluating sex and flowering would be very helpful.

I plan to plant about 6 more soon, but these guys still put a smile on my face every day.

They look fine. Just make sure you maximize sunlight. Don't overwater or use little to no fertilizer at this point. Just wait a few weeks and keep an eye on em. Post updates on any plant developments. Good luck man.

Thumbs up Day 25

They look good. See Pictures. The last picture is just a close up of one of the plants.

All three have shown a lot of growth in the past few days. Id say there about 2 by 2 inches.

Ive started germinating some crappy dro seeds to see if i can get a few more kids going. Weed is weed, but ill keep you updated. Thanks again for any help.

Any help?

Hi guys.

To all outdoor growers. I am a virgin outdoor grower with a big plot of land. A few questions.

1) I am planting straight into ground. The soil has been turned over several time and alot of roots have been taken out to reveal nice spongy soil (the time of things you see in grow bags (I think????) Should I drop some lime (dolomite in there)?

2) I have a pile of rotting straw too. Will this add to the benefitting to the soil?

3) Spacing? When planting seeds straight in guys how much space between them? My plot is 27ft x 3ft. How many seeds can I sow in there?

4) If I start growing mid June will this give me time for a good yield (Northern Spain is my location)? This a full-time thing in the summer but only one outdoor yield a year of course.

Hope you can help guys.

lime addition depends on local requirements/conditions

rotting straw always goes into my dirt mix for outdoor plants

you can crop as close together as you want with hemp, 3 feet seems the right distance though because it matches the width they have

June is the solstice down here, the shortest day of my year, (southern hemisphere)

If I plant around Christmas I get awesomely large harvests come May, I assume the planting is opposite in the north

My guess is you could plant as late as August and still pull off a reasonable crop, now will be large.

Those babies look like they are coming along fine. They should be a few weeks older and a little bigger before you sex them. This is done by restricting light to 12 hours for about 10 days. Obvious sexual signs will begin to appear by then.

i love perlite personally. Always use a healthy amount in your mix, it isnt gonna harm anything, only airate your soil.

bro if you transplant them to bigger pots do NOT use that miracle grow crap again. miracle grow is evil and nutrients burns plants all the f'n time. It happend to one of my plants so bad that i thought it got burned from the cfl light it was under. If the plant are ok right now thats good but if your planting outside dont use more of that crap just use regular dirt or something other plain soil. feed it with a good brand like foxfarms or somethig miracle grow sucks.
