We germed 5 cotton candy beans using a moist, warm j-cloth stored in an airtight bag under a bowl in veg..a warm place for sure. After two days, they were ready to put into cups. (tonight)

This is what I could find on the Cotton Candy.. federation seeds

The flavor is extremely sweet, hitting on tropical punch and skittles with a skunky base to bring it home. The high was very heady and narcotic feeling, even sleepy at times."

An old Vancouver Island strain that originates from Afghani and Haze seed lines, recognized by the medical community for its pain relief without the drowsiness. Wonderful fragrance with an earthy flavor and long lasting high. The Cotton Candy will produce one ounce of dense bud per gallon of soil/root mass. The Cotton Candy has deep green leaves with a bushy growth structure that makes it almost as wide as it is tall. Known for its astringent qualities, the Cotton Candy has an extreme drying effect and it is recommended a glass of water or juice should be at hand while medicated.


The Cotton Candy mama was a beautiful example of an old Island strain that comes out of Afghani and Blueberry seedlines. Long and fluffy to start but thick and sweet with a pinkish hue after 8 weeks. Odiferous flowers with intense resin production, this plant has a deep green colour on upper leaf surfaces, but the underside of the leaves are light green at first, becoming almost white with crystal at maturity. Recommended by my carny friend "Resin Rene". Height 7 feet

So its.... afghani x blueberry or an afghani x nl cross x blueberry or afghani x haze..

They hooked me with the "skittles and tropical punch" kinda smoke..PLUS.. pink buds.

The mix is pretty simple.

55% Peat
45% Perilite
5% Worm Castings, myke.

Veg under 200 and some CFL's 24/0 and nutes will be earth juice grow, bloom and xcatalyst. I haven't used these before but from what I have read, they really screw with your ph..dramatic drops from 9 to 3. Not a good time to be without a functioning pen me thinks.. so we're wingin it..

You may be able to get ph test drops from a garden store. 9 - 3 sounds a bit scary.

I tried the test drops..(from a pet store ) but they test by colour. The earth juice nutes are coloured so the drops don't work. Remembering grade seven science.. isn't there litmus paper?

Still haven't tried molasses on toast but made some ginger snaps!

I know Pharm.. 7 feet... I may have to dig a hole. It says about 56 days in flower so I am thinking around the same finishing time as the black russian.. cept way taller!

GNC or GMC the fitness place has strips for testing your saliva and urine. 80 strips for $10 CAD
160 strips is a pen.

Say you use about 4 tests to get the ph right every time you water... for both veg mix and flower mix. Suddenly you have 20-25 waterings you can do before buying more.
And I hear your partner is a real clutz with the water so if he spills on even half the strips you are down to 10-12 waterings.
New toy to play with... 10 strips wasted. Now you are on the lee side of 7-9 waterings and have wasted about 13$.

I also hear that your partner will actually pee on a strip just for fun, so the mess and the wasting of yet another strip or 2...

Litmus paper = cheap and fun
Pen = cheap and harder to pee on and get a reading.

i am never sure about the words people sue to describe the flavour of weed, but rainbows sounds dead on.

they weren't so big on north american strains in amsterdam. i have friends on the island

Funny, as years ago they had almost all the decent west coast strains running there.
They did some fine tuning and crossing if what I read is correct. Keep in mind most of the breeders from here are there now

The story is (at least the one I have been spreading) is after school you are going to provide weed for some of the coffee shops in the dam? Or is it moving to pakistan and spending the rest of your days dry sieving hash?
