Zero is immune to polarities. It's the perfect number which doesn't affect any other number. It also looks like a circle which is the perfect shape. It only makes sense that it woud be neither odd nor even.

What makes sense is not always correct. In maths 0 is considered a number so it has to be either odd or even. The simple rule I posted earlier proves it's an even number.

This is usually taught in 3rd grade...

I would definitely lean more toward zero being even if I looked at it from the mathematical perspective, I just don't really consider it a number becaue I tend to see t from a spiritual perspective.

zero is preceeded by an odd number, and is followed by another odd number, just like any other even number. however "odd" and "even" are pretty arbitrary designations anyway, just like numbers or time.
