weed brings people together

Just recently i really started to look at and think about how my life changed since i started smoking weed. I first started smoking when i was 12, but up until the begining of this school year (im 16 and a sophmore in high school) i only smoked a few times a year. But at the begining of this school year i started smoking much more frequently and really became a stoner.

Now i am starting to think about all of the people that i have met through smoking weed, and probably would not have met and became friends with, if it werent for smoking. about a week ago i went on a couple of blunt rides with some people that i really didnt like. when i was sober and around them in school and public i fucking hated them and treated them that way. But when i was on those rides with them everything was totally cool. we were actually acting like friends. this is how i came to the conculsion that weed brings people together. their are many different scences, clics, and social groups out their, but everyone seems to be able to come together around the kush.

I then started thinking about people when we are stoned and came to another conclusion. When we are stoned out of are minds, were really all the same. everyone is the same when we are completely stoned. sure some people may act differently than others. but if you think about it everyone is really the same when their stoned.

do you mean we're all on the same level when we're high? cuz if i don't like someone, whether i'm stone or not, i don't like em. they might just be a little easier to tolerate when i'm high.

Not all people are the same when stoned. I'm still social when I'm stoned. Some people I know will just sit there until they fall asleep or whine about everything. Ugh..

yes i was stoned when i wrote that, but what i meant was people come together to smoke weed. Like i said in my post, that i went on some blunt rides with some people i didn't really like, but was able to deal with them. Which would not have been possible if we were sober and not smoking. I'm not saying weed will make everyone like everyone else and bring peace on earth, I'm just saying it has the ability to bring people together which other wise would not happen. We all have are stoner friends that we do not associate with unless we are smoking, and that is kinda what i mean.

Yeah. It's a social thing, and it gives people something to have in common. I remember thinking the same thing when I smoked for the first time.

you and me both man, im a sophmore and ive met so many people through bud. especially alot of people that i didnt really liked but once we smoked out hes been chillen with me alot more haha marijuana does bring people together.

I agree with the general context of this thread but disagree strongly with the above statement. If I don`t like someone I definitely wouldn`t get kippered with them.
