Supernatural power?

Something weird happened the other day. Me and my bro were watching a movie (Who Killed The Electric Car- documentary really good. everyone should watch it. its about the oil companies and conspiracy) So anyways we were like... i dont know 40 min (?) into the movie and my brother sits up and goes. 'Anita, go get me the phone.' im kinda like uhhh? wierd. 'did you forget to call someone' and he is like 'no, but i just think someone is gonna call me' i start to say something and hes gives me a look and signs rolling a joint and blazing so i go get the phone. THE SECOND i pick it up, it rings. it was wierd. I answer and it was my sister asking for Derik, my brother. you guys might be like oh he prob saw the time, and knew someone was going to call then, but we dont have a clock in my room. and the dvd player doesn't show how long you are in the movie. and he doesnt have a watch. it was crazy. it got me to thinking- is this real? anything else happen to other people?

similar things have happened to me and just about everyone i know...i don't know what to chalk it up to...maybe like verk said...

I don't believe in supernatural powers. If it exists, it becomes natural. So the entire word "supernatural" is simply the belief that what humanity is capable of NOW is all we are capable of.

And anything outside of the "norm" is super-natural. Which is silly, once you think about it. So I definately think what is called "supernatural" is possible. I just don't think of it as supernatural.

That dont sound very supernatural but I know what you mean. What is weird to me is I have a really good friend and all our lives we've had this thing were we are thinking about the same thing at the same time. I'll be like, " you remember that time when your brother whacked you in the hand with a sickle and about took off your thumb?" and he'll be like, "DUDE, that is so fucked up I was just thinking of the same thing...wtf? And this happens all the time to both of us...it's like our minds are on the same level or something it's creepy. Too many times this has happened to be coincidence.

I'm sorry, but I just think this is hilarious. Your brother just pulled a trick on you, somehow. Just cause there's no clock in the room, or one you can see, or whatever, doesn't mean he didn't trick you, doens't mean he didn't know what time it is.

Think about it - why did he ask YOU to get the phone? Why didn't he just get it? Cause - the effect is more dramatic when you got the phone.

Magicians make a living out of doing the same thing. And, the funniest part, is that they LIE right to you as they do the trick. They tell you "the audience isn't in on it" when, well, in fact, the audience IS in on it, among other things.

I did a similar "psychic" thing to a friend years ago in college. We had a phone that would "chirp" just slightly before it rang. I mean, if you weren't paying attention, you'd never hear it. once it made this almost inaudible noise, you knew it was going to ring. Both my roommate and I knew about it.

Sitting with my friend one time, I suddenly got up and went to the phone. She asked my why I did it, and I said the phone was about to ring. Sure enough, it did, and my friend just could not believe it. Had I not told her, she'd still think it was psychic phenomena to this day....

Well lol he asked me to get it because I'm the baby of the family, so I do just about everything for him. 'Anita, make me dinner, Anita get me a beer, Anita can you rub my feet' <- yea it gets that bad.
Our phone doesnt do any fucked up things like chirp. and its so unlikely that he knew exactly when someone was going to call if he didnt have the time. like exactly the right time. its just not possible. I know there is no visible time, because it is my room, and my cell is the only thing that has the time on it. and that was downstairs.

So, it's just not possible, huh? All right. LOL. Many, many people going to take advantage of you!! People watched Uri Geller (look him up) bend spoons and keys right in front of them with his "mind" for years and years. Everyone said, "it's not possible!" Well, yea it was - he simply pre-bent the spoons, or bent them with slight of hand. He fooled scientists!!!!!!!

gweetar, it is indeed possible it was all a ruse.

But assuming you're based in science, you have to also admit that it is indeed possible it happened exactly how he said it did.
