Have you witnessed any paranormal (legitimate) events?
I know that there has to be thousands of stories right here on yahooka...
I know I told this story before, but for those who didnt read it it goes like this.... My friend has a medical m.j. card and grows in his garage....he keeps the door closed, and the temp. regulated.....this is the Gods honest truth, we were sitting in lawn chairs he has set up to kick it in, shoot the shit, etc. Anyways, we were about to light a bowl when a pen goes flying across the table onto the floor, and hit the wall...I talked with him recently to verify the story, and that it wasn't a dream, he said "No, it actually happened..." He talked with his dad about the incident and his dad wasn't suprised, he said ALOT of weird things happen when they shouldn't be happening....the laws of physics state that they shouldn't happen, and if I wouldn't have seen it with my own 2 eyes, I would have had a hard time believing him...but the thing is, I saw it too...I know you guys have to have some hard to believe but true stories! ![]() |

Good One Mate; I was thinkin of starting a thread like this. You stole my idea somehow telepathically
.Anyway I had 2 experiences last year.. both genuine. I was a pure atheist be4 these experiences but now definatily consider there might exist higher power. I've posted b4 as well, but for this threads sake, Ill copy paste them below: 1 Personally: I met a gal when I was in first year at uni. I just looked into her eyes, we both liked each other blah blah. Couldn't become fully lovers though as she was from a restrictive religion. I would have said, it wasn't anything special if not for some "paranormal" things happening between us. For example the last time I saw her, I actually bumped (physically) into her accidently and we were both suprised, as I was on a job at that time and "by chance" i had some work at uni so I had to go over there, and by chance she just finished her exam. We were not even by inch expecting each other. It was b4 summer holidays which I didn't realise at that time. After that incident I thought something strange happened today and sure enough after 2 weeks I lost my job and (she went on summer holidays); then she had to go back to her country. We haven't seen each other from that moment and don't really think we will again. 2One day in october I had accident while I was driving Company Van on the job. The night before my father said to charge my mobile phone and then he stressed it very much to me and my mom (that my phone is not charged and I should charge it). I didn't bother and neither my mom since we were too sleepy. The strange thing is then he charged my mobile phone himself. The point here is I've left my m.p at home many time before and after the incident and I didn't take it seriously and nothing unexpected happened and my dad NEVER said to charge the phone and never ever stressed about it and never once he charged it himself except for that night. I wake on the accident's day's morning, and I said to myself "Oo, its all charged and stuff and ready to take so I might as well take it to the job today and beside phone was making loud noises". And sure enough there was a accident. Also to confirm it was strange event, I left my mobile phone deliberately uncharged in following days and my dad's reaction was mute, he didn't even care one bit. It was a very strange and profounding experience when I thought about it afterward the accident. Essentially, I would have been stuck in the highway with no way for calling for help, waving and hoping someone might stop and no way of letting my employer know where I am and whatsoever if I didn't had mphone on the day. I would have been in hopeless situation. |

my apartment in boston was haunted, for sure.
my roomate and i had several experiences that freaked us right out. one of the scariest was a night that we were both asleep (we shared a room) and were both awakened by hideous male laughter that sounded like it was right at the doorway. both of us were too scared to move or speak, so we didn't even talk about it until the morning. another time i had to run up to the apartment alone to get my credit card i had forgotten, and as i was in the living room, someone said something to me from the kitchen...still don't know what it was, but the hair stood up on the back of my neck, and i don't think i even shut the door, i flew outta there so fast. another time i was lying on the couch after my roomate went to bed, and i turned all the lights and tv off. about to fall asleep, i heard what sounded like someone sliding in socks across our hardwood floor toward me. the sound got closer and closer until it felt like someone was staring at me an inch from my face. as soon as i got the courage to open my eyes, the feeling and the sound was gone. oh, and our bathroom light would turn on by itsself all the time. another time, my roomate went back to california for her parents anni, so i'm there alone. i was in the living room talking on the phone, trying to pry the window open cuz the central heating was making the place so hot, even though it was snowing outside. so i finally get the window open, i get off the phone and go into the kitchen to find every cabinet open. i was there alone, and did not do it. very scary since i had to sleep there alone. we would always hear crashing noises coming from our kitchen at night, too. scary place.

whatever it's called, it scared the piss outta us...we were 18 year old girls from california living in boston...the building was over 100 years old even then. everything was slanted. the door to our bedroom wouldn't even close.
it's amazing what you can tolerate and live with when you're poor.

when i was like 3 my mom siad i had this imaginary friend she thought was a ghost. cuz i would like talk to this little boy whenever i was in my room and she would hear someone playing with my toys when i wasnt their or she would hear like little running footsteps that werent mine and i would just tell her it was my friend...she siad it was really spooky but i cant remember it.
and another lol when i moved into this house in michigan with my mom and her boyfriend, every time anyone would go outside to get the mail, there would be this little wet footprint behind them that was like a perfect bare foot and also in that house one day we were all eating dinner and my little cousin points at the kitchen and is like "can he have some" and nobody was there and we asked im who and he said "that man in the kitchen hes really hungry"...freaked me out

Some stuff with the little kids is creepy..
Closest I've had to that is in this house. I always hear thumping, and sometimes I will hear what sounds like a couple little kids making noise. I still blame the pot though. Sin.Ziggy. |

that's even scarier when your own parents tell you that you were talking to an "invisible man".....its strange that young children are more receptive and tuned in to this sort of thing....as we get older we tend to become narrow minded as far as our outlook on the world, and tend not to notice the little things...I've heard (I'm sure you have all seen "A Haunting" on A&E) of children playing with "imaginary" friends, like the little girl who would get pushed on the swing by the old man (dead).. combined with the events >I<'ve witnessed, and experiences I've been through, I'm positive there is some sort of afterlife.... |

Me too; but this ghost shit sorta scares. I wouldn't really wanna become a imaginary friend or stuck in between life and after life. I am hoping for a more positive after life like reincarnation or heaven but then who knows!! |
