Strange things kids say
I know I've made this before.
My friends son is 2. Very smart little boy. boy-"mommy I love Chistmas....but you wont be here next time." mommy-"what do you mean?" boy-"You'll be all burned by then." now for a 2 and a half year old, I find this kinda strange....she says he's always talking about creepy things.

Did the leprechaun tell him to burn things?

That is strange. Did she ask him what he meant by that? Let us know if she spends next X-mas in the hospital.
Kids don't constantly question their reality and where information comes from. Really cool thing, really. They don't filter out parts of reality that the adult has decided no longer fits into what we find acceptable. (S)he also draws conclusions about, not only his reality, but also about himself based upon how others react to the things that he says and the way that he acts. Sometimes our reactions are that of fear and so the child also becomes afraid and begins the filtering process. Sometimes our reaction is to tell him to stop talking like that, thus the child reacts with shame and the message is, "You are bad for seeing these things. Don't talk about them." The child is still developing and he believes that if the world (the adults) give him the message that he is bad, that he must be bad. He then suppresses those areas of himself that are filled with shame and holds them within his body where, years later, they become disease or manifest in other such ways. OR we react by OVER encouraging the child to focus on these areas. This also gives the message that it's something 'weird' and a child doesn't want to be weird and there's embarrassment or they even begin to lie and say that they are having experiences in order to gain the attention of the parent. If we just react as if it's another part of our child, don't discount the experiences (because whether or not they are 'real', even their imagination should be validated) and support him/ her, pay attention... then maybe our child will be healthy and not ashamed of the very natural parts of himself. Shaming a child for visions is the same thing as telling him his dick will fall off from masturbation. A child sees black and white... if he hears something, he believes it. But if I were the mother, I would ask him why he says that and watch to make sure that there is not reason for concern. Make sure that he is not getting messages from television or his environment that may be detrimental to his developing psyche ![]()

I'll try to find out.
I know his mom is totally spiritual, and not a skeptic...She is not the type to shut a child up but try to ask questions. She is very prtective of him as well, most likely not letting him see any type of violence anywhere.

Haha Prophet Saddam those are three of my favorite videos. As far as strange things kids say, a lot of it is simply things that they've heard or seen and then repeated. Although two years is two young for long-term memories to develop, the child is still capable of regurgitating things that they may have experienced even subconsciously, especially if the child is of above average intelligence.
Ability of non-word repetition and vocabulary development in 2-year-old children I did some looking around and you might find that paper to be helpful. In short, I don't think your friend's kid is Satan, he's just smarter than the average two year old and thus more capable of regurgitating information not typically associated with toddlers. |

Maybe her son is born with the 46&2 chromesomes and can see the future because they can't comprehend "obsticles" yet...
More than likely it's just weird constructions of words like everyone else said. But that video of the little girl saying "kick his ass" is awesome. She'll be a genius growing up shes already getting over her teenage rebellion haha.
