WILD induced by Meditation

Hey, Yesterday I was meditating before sleeping and then without any realisation I thought I was on a psychedelic trip. It was Wake induced lucid dreaming. It was great, way better than normal lucid dreaming. In WILD you are caught off guard, so reality unreality mix.

It was as real as any pschedelic trip (way stronger than cannabis high) and FREE. Now If I only I can learn to induce this every night, I will be such a happy soul

And oh yeah, everything was there: time distortion, imaginations becoming real, flying through clouds. Wish I could have continued it eternity. Haha.

But one side effect I had was of uncomfortable stomach, it was feeling like my stomach was bulging out and then super in (when I was waking up)

I am a lucid dreamer, and I have only had one wild. Most of my dreams are DILDS. My wild was amazing, I had just vaped a bunch of hits and was on my bed just relaxing and tryingto go into a trance. My body started vibrating and I suspected sleep paralysis. I just kept my mind open and soon I was into my WILD. Sounds like you had good control for a WILD. I woke up the next morning feeling great. Mad props.

^Dude I seriously suggest you practice for WILD. You'll love it (as I can see . Its like a psychedelic trip and very strong and vivid in that sense (I never imagined in my wildest dreams; it would be like this strong). I am trying this everyday (from last 4 days) and its getting better, but for somereason I get nervous ((*even tho I had great first trip*)) just b4 the jump into other reality (which never happened when I take psYchoactive) and only that fucks me up. But still I can see I am getting better as I can stay conscious up until very close to sleep (and also experience sleep paralysis now) so its really a matter of time b4 I can lucidily go into lucide dreams.

But its harder work than normal lucid dreaming dude; you;ll have to meditate upuntil the point of sleep which can be frustrating at times; but its definately worth it IMHO.

Also note: I didn't smoke any Ganja on that day. But I was thinking about "flying" while meditating. And my dream started with flying and then just went everywhere - sex, clouds, esctasy ...

I really want to try this WILD but I dont have enough patience..I've only had dream induced lucid dreams. infact I practised for like a week and then i was having them every night for about a week and a half. all I had to do was look at my hand and then I realized i was dreaming and everything became lucid. if you look at your hand in a dream it is very distorted. but you have to practise looking at your hands throughout the day while awake..its pretty weird. or you can look at a clock in a dream a few times and become lucid..good stuff

I thought it was funny that she put 'way stronger than a cannabis high' in there..

I am a male. I thought I put that in my profile. I;ll check that again.

I put that there cuz to be honest; I wasn't expecting much out of a dream. I've had lucid dream (not wild) b4 but they were nothing like WILD altho still good.

Praise Jah: I no where you are coming from. I would have the same feeling as you if not for 1 I had.

DM I had that as well many times b4; you only need to take it just one step further.
I looked at this news http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/ar...thinks-so.html and began to wonder if it is real. I did exactly what he did; slow and deep breath for about half an hour b4 sleeping. But instead of being pain - free, I had even better experience. The only difference is I was imagining I was stoned instead of garden full of roses. So yeah its not really meditation in strict sense but mix of self hypnosis and meditation.

Infact if any peeps are too dependent on psychoactives; or got legal trouble and can't use them; this is a excellent substitute. Of course you'll have to work though.

I heard from some other forum that when you dream; your brain actually produces DMT to induce them. So if you are conscious in dreams its really like tripping on DMT without using DMT.

Look at this article as well: E.l.e.c.t.r.i.c D.r.e.a.m.s - Articles

That's very cool

I know that 'vibrating' feeling but I don't go into a lucid dream from there... and the vibrating can last for what seems like a really long time.

I have only had one lucid dream that was induced from a waking state. I used a counting induction technique where I was counting, "1- I'm dreaming, 2- I'm dreaming, etc". It was like "22- I'm dreaming" and I was looking at my feet which were walking across this bridge and counting my steps and said, "Hey, I really am dreaming!"

I don't 'practice' lucid dreaming anymore (although I do frequently become lucid during dreams). The reason that I'm not practicing is that my guides are using my dreams to show me things right now. Sometimes I just go to sleep and don't worry about it but others I ask for specific help and the dream is always 'telling'. When I'm lucid (which also has it's place), the conscious or rational part of my mind tends to interfere with the process. Plus, I'm hooked on flying and that's ALL I wanna do when I'm lucid

I love dream work

No but srsly, my best lucid dream was better than any mushroom trip I've ever been on. They are truly amazing, mine was ticked when I woke up in a room I didn't fall asleep in. Meditating/dreaming is ill.

ive had experiences like this. im not so much into practicing lucid dreaming anymore, but back when i was practicing i would get weird experiences like the one you are describing. chakras spinning out of control and vibrating my entire body, it could be subtle or so intense i thought i was being electrocuted in my semi-conscious state. ive woken up with visual hallucinations before, only to wake up once again realizing i was just still dreaming.

the stomach stuff i think is your energy centers, chakras, whatever you wanna call em. its normal for people who go into these states to experience temporary bodily symptoms. in fact the speculation is that the weird sensations you experience arent even physical and happening in your body- its all energy you are feeling.

i had a few WILDS but the way it would work for me was i would go into a semi-sleep state, almost like a trance, and then suddenly i would be lucid in a dream. i would fly around, do random stuff for about 20 seconds and then i would get excited and jump back to my physical body. im sure if i continued practicing i could have gotten better and actually spent a substantial amount of time on it i could have stayed lucid much longer.

anyway LDing is great fun, i actually would love to get back into it now that i have more time. i found the best time for me to practice was in the morning after sleeping for 6-8 hours. i would get up, use the bathroom, then go right back to bed and start having crazy lucid dreams right off the bat.

this is because you are generating the experience through your own abilities and energy as opposed to an external substance generating the experience for you. totally normal. when your energy becomes nervous it creates a shockwave that shakes you out of your relaxed state. keep up the practice and you will definitly get it.

word, they are real, and if you take the time to exercise your dream skills like someone takes the time to exercise their body you can really have some interesting experiences.

sounds a lot like astral projection. I've had the lucid dreams but never while awake. That must be a hell of an experience.

Yeah there is nothing quite like the feeling of a lucid dream, knowing you are in a dream and being able to control your environment. Dreams are as real as anything else we experience, in my opinion. It's like when you have a dream you are falling you always feel like you are hitting the mattress when you wake up.

In most of my lucid dreams (I'm sure it sounds a little crazy) but I've been able to do all kinds of things from flying, although usually I don't fly like a bird or how you would imagine, there is usually some type of object that I am using to fly with (although I do have dreams where I can levitate, and more or less fly except I never go very high), telekinesis aka moving things with my mind, the ability to go invisible and or transport myself to another place (transcendental meditation?).

They don't happen very often but when they do I enjoy them very much, I'd like to imagine that is what death is like.

For anyone interested in lucid dreaming and the like I would highly recommend the movie "Waking Life". You will not be disappointed.

when i lucid dream, i like to talk to my dream characters, not fly around... ive been doing that for years flying is too easy. i ask them for advice, i fuck with them and tell them they are in my dream and this is all fake and they say "no way your crazy man, whats wrong with you" and sometimes it almost wakes me up but i just keep telling them and they get mad and walk away. or try make up a super power and go sub-zero style and freeze someone, thats the funnest things ive done.

Some day you will see other dreamers that don't know they are dreaming. You have probably met them before!
