Tolerance...

Does this concept apply to a lot of things.. or is it just limited to a certain few..? Take vision as an example of something debatable.. some might say that if your eye sight is poor and you get glasses then you will build up a tolerance to vision through the glasses and as a result have worse eyesight as someone who never had the glasses at all. There are many factors of course.. but all other need to be constant to make any deductions about one in particular. So it's a tricky choice.. but what do you think? I am tempted to sway to the side that tolerance affects everything. The more you use it the more you get used to it..

The idea of tolerance definitely applies to everything in life. When you first try something, the thrill and the excitement, the anticipation, everything involved in doing whatever it is makes the whole experience that much better. Every time you do it you get more and more used to it and it begins to effect you less and less, to have less of a hold on you.

Think of it this way: I'm sure life was a lot more exciting, a lot more interesting when I was a newborn. It was something new, something I had never seen before. Now I see it everyday. It ceases to have the hold on me it once did

I live by the saying "everything in moderation". As long as you moderate yourself, limit yourself, you won't build up a tolerance to anything.

He's right...in a sense. I've found my limits, I think. I enjoy moderation because when I want to go balls out it's that much better. If I limit myself then occasionally break the limits the experience is a hundred times better. What I don't recommend is breaking your limits every time, because that is when you start to build up tolerances.

As long as you moderate and sporadically go all out, you should be fine. Even the dude in the video doesn't suggest breaking the boundaries every day...

I sorta disagree. Look at first and subsequent Ganja experiences (atleast for me). You will see it was amazing first number of times and then slowly slided down. Now If I smoke ganja even if after long (2 weeks) break; it dosen't gimme the same effect. Its like my mind already knows what the experience gonna be like so its not as interesting anymore.
