Placebo...
..where does it end..? Is it a bad thing to trick your mind despite achieving positive benefits as a result? Where can we take this? Evolutionary theory suggests that dreams are at least in part a tool to experience a vast array of possible scenarios.. a training simulator of sorts. The next level of dreaming allows control over the scenario and so opens up the possibility to train specifically for a certain waking life event. How much is and can be changed by what I would consider as fatter neurons.. pathways more travelled.. bigger connections.. or something like that. Do you think waking life affects the experience in the dream state more or the other way round.. or maybe a lil of both..? Many questions. I.. err. yes.

Why does dreaming have to exist to serve waking life? What about the other way around? Perhaps waking life is a single game played in a larger experiential existence governed by the rules of dreaming.
