Has anyone ever seen these symbols? They ran through my mind like vivid drawings

Unbelievably ripped last night, high like I haven't been in a long time. We were sitting in the car listening to radiohead with all the lights off, I closed my eyes and all a sudden it was like warped time, this one odd symbol I remember seeing vividly, I wrote it down so I wouldn't forget (which i did almost immediately after writing them down) it was like a cross with a backwards 3 inscribed.... has any one ever heard of these symbols ? A friend of mine just tripped on shrooms and said he saw these indescribable symbols, I think we may have reached the same ... portal? Serious answers only please : )

I see hundreds of those kinds of things a day. With my eyes shut and sometimes when my eyes are open. Sober or On something.

Chances are that symbol only really holds meaning to you. So only you know what it means, whether you can interperate it or not displays your level of connectivity to the "other side".

Sometimes they are just to sacred to speak of...

edit - and sometimes they mean absolutely nothing and you were high and your brain showed you something.

Burnt images on the back of your eye from some shiny reflected object,
in the shape of the glowing object.


I once saw a crescent shape with a dot in the middle.

I looked around and the raised shiny metal corner of my cd case was
reflecting the lamp light up into my eyes.

The crescent shape was the edge and the dot was the rivett burnt into my eyes.



But there were times where there was low light,
and I was "tripping"
Your brain just starts generating wierd patterns,
with your eyes shut.

your sight is so hightend and sensitive,
that even low background/reflected soft lighting,
still play games with your eyes lid.


Whatever subconscience "purge" through this imagery is up to you to take
or throw away.

It "could" mean something to you.


There were some "trips" that I was for sure "this is real, my friends also feell it and see it."

I've seen symbols during smoke meditation too and they've been very meaningful to me. The first thing that your description brought to my mind was the 3rd eye chakra pic that Mydriasis posted.

The triangle in that image is a Hindu Trikona, Greek delta or Hebrew deleth - all represent a door. The cross you saw may be a symbol for Christ (if you meant a Christian type cross) who said "I am the door".

The "3" thing, if it matches Mydriasis' pic, is the Aum or Om - "the name of God, the vibration of the Supreme".

If you do some research on dreams and/or spiritual communication you'll find that the language of Spirit is symbol and metaphor, i.e., what you saw.

I think that you, having opened the door (whether you knew that or not), had an encounter with God who, via these symbols, was communicating something to you.
