i feel good..

my recent discovery of who we are and where we came from, and what earth really is (to me i guess,) has brought a very optimistic outlook on life, and even death. for instance, christians find happiness in death believing they're going to a better place, heaven. in my eyes, i've found a joy in death from having a son. this may not make sense to some of you but its like.. he came from ME. so when i die, he's carrying on my life... i find joy in that. raising a son to his fullest potential in every way.

And the facts of where we came from have some what enlightened me. I don't believe in an after life, so I've started taking this life much more seriously and passionately. It's my only one ya know.. That gives me much appreciation to be here, especially in this day and age. the day of instant messaging across the world, places unknown completely by earlier humans. And blah blah we all know how advanced we are these days.

I'm pretty blitzd so i don't know where i was really going with this..

KK, I have serious doubts that life is about drugs. DMT may have the ability to open your mind, but not to the actual facts... just to your own theories/ideas.

Good for you tho killerr, I know where you are coming from. I kind of agree with some of the eastern religions though about how your next life will be better the better you treat your current life. I don't know why, it just makes sense to me.

Well yeah, ok, if you wanna play that game. lol I just meant drugs that aren't naturally made by your brain. Like large amounts of DMT.

When I believe something is right and good I feel like it can make me last forever. I don't care if I'm wrong as long as I believe I'm right and true.

For reals, how did we get this far into the thread without wanting to hear these discoveries. I for one would like to. Sharing what you think isn't going to get a piece of your hide torn off in here.

Lay a few things down on us.

agree and agree. i also sort of believe in reincarnation. not only do the seasons point to it, but doesn't it make since with no after life? instead of a never ending stream of new souls?

We've discussed this in my religion thread. I believe in evolution.

the scientific view of our origins is as spiritual as any other imo. since childhood, thinking about it has brought on a kind of religious ecstasy. starstuff pondering the stars. . .

Just like with feeling good, I rationalize our existance in terms of brain chemestry. Which is why I tend to agree with kitch that drugs are supremely important. I don't understand any other possibility of existance other than the one we're processing in our head. Light hitting our eyes, mass hitting our skin, waves hitting our ears. We're like sponges soaking up energy and dreaming our existance and pretending it's reality.

And what goes deeper than this is what makes up light, mass and waves...which I feel the answer is vibration. So really, we're vibrational interpreters dreaming our existence and pretending it's reality.

The question remains: what happens when you wake up from the dream?

I feel I know exactly what life is about and I firmly believe in an afterlife, which is really a beforelife or perhaps an inbetween life. I find it especially interesting when considering the core constituent of ourselves, which is perception of self/self awareness/consciousness. I do not feel this is relegated to the body, since I've been outside my body enough to know this (through meditation). Add on top of that lucid dreaming, near death experiences, tripping, past life regressions...to me, there's a mountain of evidence that supports the 'soul' aspect of us or the notion that "I" am not this body. Science's assumption that consciousness resides in the Brain will be one of the greatest misconceptions that will be corrected soon and re-arrange the entire scientific worldview. Science will still remain intact of course, as science is a process rather than a belief. But it will be merged with the mystical side of things...because really, the mystical side is only mystical because they haven't been able to detect spiritual/etheric energies with physical instruments yet. But they will soon (there's already Aura Photography) and it will be commonplace knowledge that there's more to life than physical experience through the brain processes.

I'm so stoked about dying. It's going to be amazing to remember everything I forgot. I already know this isn't my first run through and I know that all my experiences of love will last forever while the hard times that shaped me will be also remembered fondly as trials and tribulations that have made me stronger. And I'm pretty sure once we first arrive back home, it's a good block of partying with old friends.

I don't know where this post is going either, but I suppose it follows suit with the thread.

I don't understand the part about..."the facts of where we come from" in the original post, when still, no one here on earth has truly figured it out.

just saying.

I just mean how we came from monkeys and we weren't specially made by the Christian God.
