I still think that's weird that a summer camp would search you. You would think they would just be happy you are there. Make sure you don't skip any group activities to toke if you do.

Also, don't go out of your way to bring it or smoke it. Like other people said, if this camp actually searches your persons and your bags, then don't even bring it because they are clearly on a look out for it.

PLus camps are usually pretty regulated, time wise. You'll be busy anyways, I donno to me it seems like an effort not worth it.

while i do kind of agree with others that if its not happening just dont bring it. however if i were going to stay in the woods for a week or so, id be doing what your trying. i more strongly think that whatever kind of camp (what kind of camp is this anyways? ease our curiosity) it seems they perhaps might just be using the ol scare tactic on ya. assuming most summer camps are outnumbered a bit with campers vs. staff are they really going to have the man power to pull off an adequate full scale search? think about it at least 100 campers arriving at the same time to get into the camp only to have to wait in long ass concert type lines waiting to be searched??? are parents going to dig this? if i were a parent my kid would be in the car heading back home with me ASAP if i saw that shit. seems either to over paranoid or to much risk of thuggish shit going on to send my kid off. so if i were you id get a tad crafty and find a hiding place in your suitcase, i personally go with a button down shirt pocket when packing(not a whole oz in one bulging pocket though), and realize they are not going to look in every inch of your belongings. also a spot im quite keen on is the cap of your deoderant stick. i highly doubt this camp is going to have xrays/metal detectors, nor are they hiring dea personal to conduct the search. the dude searching the shit is probably going to puff in the woods that night anyway. and as a final note i think wherever you read this scare tactic might have been more directed at scaring the kid thinking he can just put a few bottles of vodka in his suitcase and be ok, you hiding a bit of herb in stuff i think you can do it. be safe and have fun

this sounds fun. i wish i was young enough to have this dilemma... when i went to boy scout camp some guys smuggled in black and milds and we smoked that shit like weed. like people have said, bringing it in isnt a problem, finding time to yourself to smoke it without getting caught.
