Folks, alcohol dissolves thc... I just use cold, clean water. Easiest, no hassle, cheap...

Imagine a warm water bong with a separate ice part, so it passed through the warm filter, then was cooled.

I think you would want the added filtration of the warmth first. Thats the way I understand it anyways; the more energized water particles move faster and filter the smoke more nicely. Plus the cold seems to slow the smoke down, and of course cool it, but not really filter it.
