Has anyone seen the movie Bongwater? It's from 1997 and it features Owen Wilson who is a pot dealer and he just chills with his two friends all the time smoking weed and stuff, it has Britney Murphy in it who is for a short time Wilson's girlfriend in it.
One of the best parts in it is when Owen Wilson goes out to pickup and turns out his dealer is Jack Black, in short they all drop some acid and JB rocks out to Jesus Ranch. Great stoner flick. |

Harold and Kumar 1 & 2 - Great stoner films that manage to take away the stupid stereotypes most stoner films give us. Some of the funniest dialogue and situations ever. Seen the first one over 300 times probably (literally).
The Onion Movie- Just watched this one the other day but it's by far one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. If you have a sick, demented sense of humor you'll probably find this movie as funny as I did. The Death of a President- Bush gets assassinated, how could any movie top that? Hot Rod- A very underrated laughfest in my opinion. Keep in mind I love laughing while I smoke so most of my favs are comedies. What the BLEEP Do We Know!?- A film that introduces the layman to the world of quantum physics and quantum mechanics. If you can wrap your mind around the stuff in the film it's all pretty amazing. Some don't like it because it doesn't go very deep into the quantum world but it's mainly meant as a starting point to get people interested. The stuff the movie touches on is mind boggling and will introduce you to a world you didn't know existed. As a stoner the film is even more mind boggling. Just don't watch it stoned if you have a hard time following things when you're stoned as quantum physics CAN be hard to understand at times. Shaun of the Dead- I love zombies and I love laughing so this film is a natural pick for my list. Zeitgeist- A film that really needs to be seen to be explained without sounding hokey. It involves conspiracy theories regarding American govt, religion and terrorism. Up in Smoke- This one's obviously on the list for reasons that should be rather apparent. Perfect Hideout- A really bad movie with horrible script and acting. Why did it make it here? The sheer horribleness actually makes a laugh out loud comedy out of what is supposed to be a dramatic thriller. I'm adding an 11th, too bad. Grandma's Boy, best movie ever.
