Can I mail a bong?

Hey! My friends and I are going to buy a bong together before we all go away to college. We plan on doing a Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants thing, where we use it, then mail it with a letter to the next person at college. Is it legal to mail a bong in the US mail if it has ever been used. I plan on keeping it really clean and mailing it with some Top tobacco in the box, just in case, but i need to know the legality. Its going to be sent to and from NYC, Boston, Philly, and D.C. (in case that;s important).

I have no idea but shit sounds risky as fuck although if it was clean i'm not really sure what they could do.

anything with resin on it is illegal. if your cleaning it and mailing it your technicly breaking the law but only if you get...cought? Mail and packages aren't as scrutinized as people think...

its caught, but thanks for the info. if I clean it madd well, it wont have resin on it though, so I'm not sure if they will care. Will fed ex or UPS be safer?

hmm... I'm not sure, I know alot of drugs are actually mailed around the us though. You should do the whole false return address thing and never include your last name. Wrap it in bubble wrap maybe make a fake order reciet or something too so if they do open it their like Ohhhhh, someone just bought this from "bongcity.net"!

if its like new clean you shouldnt have a problem. id be most worried about some ups employees playing package baseball with your bong with it being in shipment so much.

i was also thinking about taking out the stem where the bud goes and each of us having our own so there will be less of a chance for there to be resin.

stems arnt hard to clean. you shouldnt be so concerned with it being found as much as you should be worried about your bong being broken during all this mailing back and forth between you and your friends.

Clean the bong, the resin, make sure you don't have any on your hands anywhere, when you wrap or mail it - don't get anything on any part of the package or bong. Just make sure you're clean, the bong is clean, everything is clean. Of course, that will get harder over time and be the real challenge...

Millions and millions of packages are sent everyday in the US. Wrap it nice and securely, be willing to know it might get broken, and have some fun. You're young once.

I have mailed plenty of used glass before and have never had a problem.

Just make sure it is absolutely clean and completely free of any resin.

Also, make sure you bubble wrap it well and so that it does not slide around inside the box.

The tobacco inside the box is not that big of a deal, but a decent idea.

The important thing is that is absolutely clean, and without an odor even after the ISO evaporates.

buy a new small bubbler when you get there. if you send something, it should be new. or order one and have it sent. let that be the home bong. better yet get a vape. dont use the mail, use ups or fedex....if there is a problem, using the post office brings in federal offenses and a whole list of obscure laws pertaining to government institutions....just my .04

clean it good but your main concern should be it breaking. lots of bubble wrap and maybe some styrofoam should do the trick

of coarse you can mail a bong. as long as there's no resin in it its technically a tabacco pipes (you can legally buy it in a store, why couldn't you mail it?) just make sure to wrap it up in like three feet thick of newspaper or bubblewrap.
