Smoking fruit

Being from the UK, most joints rolled tend to be with tobacco.
My friend and I have wondered if there is anything that can be used as a tobacco subsititute. Dried out fruit was one suggestion but i haven't been able to find much about it online.

Does anyone know if this can be done or of any other everyday items which can be used?

actually im getting kinda tired of smoking spliffs, so i was thinking about this the other day and thought of those herbal cigarettes to mix bud with.

On Holiday a few weeks ago we aquired some cherry and menthol tobacco which was a nice change but surely there must be other stuff you can use?

i dont reccomend dried fruit
dried leaves of many plants can be smoked with good results, the trick is finding what is good locally. the leaves of lamb's ear, mint, sage are just a few ideas. obviously dont try just any leaf, smoking cherry laurel leaves for example, can kill you dead

Texas A&M University just released that watermelon cures E.D. like VIAGRA does. TRUE STORY and google it......I am investing in watermelons baby! But don't know if ya smoke them if it works. But can't hurt......

Mullein Verbascum Thapsus leaves(use google here or this http://www.altnature.com/gallery/mullien.htm). Found abundantly growing on railroad track sides and other rough terrain. Grab the baby furry leaves. They produce a mild buzz and also help clear the loungs. Sailors used to smoke it on long journeys when their tobacco would run dry. It flames up pretty easily and shouldnt be smoked alone, best with moister weeds. The taste isn't bad and it helps cough when you smoke(productive coughing) which also gets you higher(more blood flow to the noggin).

I read that, went outside and picked some, dried a leaf in the microwave and smoked it.

I am happy with the results

This should get me through my current dry spell.

i'm curious as to why people use tobacco in joints. here it is not done by anyone that i'v met. a smoother smoke?

anyways you might try one of those "legal buds" they have adds for them all over the internet. I know they are shit by themselves by if you mixed in in with the real deal...who knows might be good. you can get a half ounce for like $30.

that or maby try the tasty puff flavoring if your looking for taste.

u should try using like tea leaves or something to substitute the tobacco, though i've never heard of putting tobacco in a joint unless im really low
